So, I cancelled my day one pre-order of my 3080. I needed the cash for house repairs. I've now got the money again. Where would people suggest I point my money towards, as in, which GPU to get it as early as possible? I know it'll be a while anyway but figured I'm better off asking first.

I say you are better off pointing your money at the bank at this stage. Indeterminate queue times might mean its a long time before an order is shipped and the AMD offering is just around the corner. Stocks will rise and prices will fall back again. Buying now is a fools game as you'll pay three figures over what you might get it for if you wait.

For what its worth, I ordered PNY 3080 on Thursday and got number 9 on waiting list, no idea if/when OCUK gets any stock from PNY.

I've been watching jaystwocents for years, but recently I've found myself really being passed off at the fact he now has 2 msi 3090,s for the sake off 3dmark scores, and 2 evga 3090 for the same reason. Now I cant grumble 2 much as I'm not waiting for a 3090 but am waiting for a 3080, and the its the same story there. AIB must send hundrands of cards out to reviews but if there thousand of customers waiting for the card y waste em?? They don't need reviewing when people are waiting for them? Nvidia said all that was needed, few people to reviews sure but still annoying.

Im just surprised people can put up with his meme style reviews, screeching, laughs in the background and general target of 12? year olds I just cant watch more than 120 secs of him at a time. Tech Jesus is way better

I think the 1500 position is ether wrong card input or a typo on the position, yours looks right as there is 1882 on the 30th Sep, not good but 110 in 30 odd hours.

If you order after 3 days of release, you should not complain about long queue, Most review out on day one, should give you plenty of time to decide which card you want.
