*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I suggest you check that page later today ;)
I like your confidence... :)
(looking forward to seeing what Gibbo new posts, which will obviously have updates on the Strix ;))
(and how great they'll be in November, sigh)

Ok guys im just gonna say it here:
319 in Queue for ROG Strix 3080 Gaming OC Card ordered at 17:48 on launch day.
ROG cards currently aren't even shipping from what ive heard atm due to them trying to find a stable way of binning the card for more-consistent clocks to make it perform better than their TUF card and potentially overcome this 2ghz issue.

Additionally its looking like Nov/December before im likely to get my card from the current out look and you know what. All you who are complaining about it not being "next day" or "fast delivery" obviously have never played video games on release day. Pre-order release days etc. Sites crash. Mass influx of people/orders and problems occur and it just so happens that this time its a stocking issue during a worldwide pandemic SHOCKER... go back 6 months there was gold rush for toilet paper for christ sake.

Just be patient and if your not willing to wait then cancel and pray that the AMD card is better and order that release day but i doubt they will have better stocking situations since the AIBs will still be dealing with this in their factories also so its just going to compound the issue even more. Better off just waiting it out and get it when you get it and ENJOY it. Stop flaming as it just causes more aggro and dont forget even on launch day it was "pre-order" not "buy now".
Well said, happily waiting for a non oc Strix myself, perfectly happy gaming on my 2080 till then, not in a hurry. If I wanted a card ASAP I would’ve picked a less expensive and less well known card.

Are we expecting anything more tomorrow than "X card will arrive in a small quantity on Y day"? I can't imagine any company giving us an exact number of each individual product, etc., surely?

Only updates we get is when gibbo posts in thread, it’ll be a quiet week as it’s golden week in Asia I believe, no production

Seen some pretty high que positions since they went live, in 62nd for mine and kind of expecting end of this month,
Think if it was any longer than that I would be tempted to try and grab a 3070 or a AMD,
Hey still might if gigabyte dont pull there finger out lol

It's only golden week in china, any other production outside of China will not slow down. But also we will be receiving stock made week/weeks ago, we don't get stock made during golden week made on that week.

Tired of this situation, having to constantly ve checking websites refreshing pages and scouring the internet for any pieces of news. Never had to work so hard to spend money.
Will be going for the AMD card the second it launches, don't care if it is slightly less powerful

Remember a few days ago when we was all temporarily happy because we could share our email queue positions. Haha it’s all back to frustration and anger again! :D

I'm hoping that I get my card beforehand, but if big navi has promising performance and at least tolerable wait times (TSMC's supply far outstrips Samsung's for Nvidia, assumedly), I'll be jumping ship for the first time since the HD5850

The toys are far from the pram in here.

It's just a graphics card, this thread exposes so much entitlement it beggars belief.

I'm position 341 on the msi gaming trio. I think my order went through about 15.27. Hopefully I'll see it before Christmas :)

I am almost 300 in the queue, going to see how it looks in the next couple of weeks, if it barely goes down I may as well wait to see AMD cards and then see if Nv respond with the higher vram models. Still get a Zen 3 CPU in the meantime
