*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

While I would agree that your position does seem low (I ordered at 15:29 and I am pos. 528), I highly doubt you will not be position 200. As far as we can see from the data gathered, there were a LOT of Eagle orders after 3pm, hence the high Q numbers.

In any case, I hope they sort your Q position, but as we don't have any real idea how the orders were Q'd (time/date placed, or time/date payment cleared), its hard to say for sure.

Just got off the phone to OC. This time spoke with someone helpful. He has no idea why I didn't receive a mail and that the customer service's position of 854 is wrong. He said that my position is 279, which is a bit more like I expected.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Overclockers are getting next to none of that, though. They've been making weekly shipments to the UK for the past few weeks, and barely anyone ordered Palit, and the approximate 121 orders for the month of September still haven't been completed.

Of course they are getting some lol
There are only a few retailers in the UK
I have been in contact with them directly since launch

How likely is it, do you guys think, that those prebuilts on competitors are still gonne be there in 24h? It's tempting, but I'm waiting for refunds to go back into my account first!

At the moment there is no confirmed ETA on further stock

This was in reference to the Gigabyte Eagle, showing OC's response ^^^

How come Gigabyte's twitter release said there would be cards shipped this week, and other retailers have mentioned "7th - 9th" October - yet OC have "no confirmed ETA on further stock"? Especially when you take this direct quote from them....
"We are receiving and shipping cards on a daily basis as they arrive from the various manufacturers.

We are working directly with NVIDIA and various graphics card vendors to secure as much stock as possible. Luckily, being one of the biggest suppliers of computer hardware in the UK means we can almost guarantee we will receive allocation before anyone else."

Doesn't sound like OC are getting allocation from Gigabyte period.

I've been in touch with Palit, and they've been hopeful. I'm just wary that another retailer 'nacs' stock has come and gone, whereas nothing heard from Overclockers in the last week about Palit.

This friday, yeeee boi. May possibly get mine before October ends.

I'm 122nd in line, would be epic if they got 150 cards. Sick of waiting, I was previously in queue for an Inno3d 3x but don't trust them (especially after the reaction to the crashing problem) so ended up at the back of the queue. I should have just gotten a Palit in the first place.

Maybes having the cash upfront means that they are guaranteed stock to cover those orders, whereas a company who doesn't take payment upon purchase doesn't get the same guarantee.

That's a guess at my end.

Well OcUK's Nvidia 30 series page does say the same:
When will the cards be in stock?

At the moment we cannot give a definitive answer but rest assured we are working tirelessly with suppliers to acquire more stock.

Our suppliers are regularly updated with our pre-order volumes and reminded that these are real pre-paid orders, not placeholders that may never be fulfilled.

Of course, it also says:
We are receiving and shipping cards on a daily basis as they arrive from the various manufacturers.
So you know, pinch of salt...

I'm concerned with the lack of chatter regarding this palit shipment on Gibbos forum. Is it an indication that the ship ended up capsizing or perhaps the shipment was ordered from another UK company?

First of all its a plane not a ship
That one went out last Tuesday
Another one going out this Friday

There is a UK distributor who splits the stock between the retailers/etailers i think
