Hi,
My computer:
Titan XP
I7 9700 k
16 gb ram

Iam having freezing screen with lines and white spots all over the screen, when playing games.
When this happens,i can still listen the background sound from the game.

It happens in every game, and only when gaming.

I tried to play without overclocked,I reinstalled windows,i have cleaned the pc from inside,...and i i gonna change the thermal paste(from cpu and gpu).

Do you have any suggestions?
Do you think my gpu is getting bad?...

Thanks

What psu do you have and how old is it?
Can you swap out the gpu to test another?
Are your temps ok? Both cpu and gpu.
Also can you try another driver? An older one. I know nvidia have been messing with their drivers recently.

Also one last thing. Take the gpu and drop it in a lower slot. The x4 one. If it still crashes, it's not the motherboard.

Seasonic Prime Titanium 650W.
It is 3 years old.
I cannot test another gpu(last option , would be to buy a new one).
Temps are ok,iam using AIO cooler on both capu and gpu),and temps are between 55 and 65,when playing.

Yes,i tried different drivers.

I will tried to drop gpu in lower slot.

Thanks.

Just something that I noticed and checked up on. You're right on the ragged edge with your psu.

The titan xp is known to consume up to and over 450 watt.
Your cpu is known to consume up to and over 125 watt.

Now that's just at stock settings. The psu is pretty much working flat out to keep up with you. Imagine what happens when you add an overclock to that.

Not that I'm saying that's what's wrong, but it wont help any.

Change it to two individuals if it's a single cable May be it's under powering the titan, let me know.

Still happening.

So i am not sure if the 650w psu is not enough or the gpu is faulty.

The thing is, every time i do a gpu test i get the freeze screen with lines.
Cpu test is fine.
Gonna try memory test.

Try undervolting.
Try the titan in another pc.
Replace psu

After a deep cleaning the Titan, and apply a brand new thermal paste,i have not more crashes when gaming.

Fingers crossed.
At least i know what to replace,in case happens again.

Thanks a lot for your answers.
