*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Indeed. My setup is worth about £9k and I can’t use it properly because of stupid Logitech software...that’s infuriating.

if I was in the low 50s then I’d just wait it out.

so by tomorrow im going to have my entire setup ready except from my graphics card so I am genuinely tempted to return my order and buy a 2070 super so i can be using my machine this week and have around 400 pound left over, i really need some indication of where tf my card is in the next day or I *might abandon this 3080 even though im supposedly 31st in the queue

just buy something used, i have bought an used r9 290x until my 3080 arrives for 50eur, its good enough, i can play everything easily in 1080p

So the Nvidia CEO has come out and confirmed what many of us feared already, that the suoply issue is expected to last through to next year.
AMD is looking like my only hope of getting a good 4k GPU

Today Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang revealed that the company expects the crushing shortages of RTX 3080 and 3090 graphics cards to persist through the end of 2020, saying:

"I believe that demand will outstrip all of our supply through the year," Huang said. "Remember, we're also going into the double-whammy. The double-whammy is the holiday season. Even before the holiday season, we were doing incredibly well, and then you add on top of it the ‘Ampere factor,’ and then you add on top of that the ‘Ampere holiday factor,’ and we're going to have a really really big Q4 season."

:D

Source behind this claim ?
I doubt we get more than hundred cards every week. Queue doesn't move that fast. And there's no reason for production to increase (More factories? More workers? Waiting for supplies or something? Production increase doesn't come from nowhere)

I'm sure I remember seeing somewhere that Asus were mostly building/shipping the OC versions, and that there's no difference between the two except for the bios clocks.

So it may be the case Asus aren't even shipping non OC's yet so you might be waiting some time.

If you can find where this is the case, I will be grateful.
