Well I gave up waiting and purchased My EVGA 3080 Gaming card for £1000 Yes I paid a prem for it but I'm happy now , don't mind paying a little more having the card now and not having to spend hours here everyday for updates ha. just tried out RDR2 ultra 4k boom its amazing.

Im nr bloody 8 on the Gigabyte so i think any kind of shipment i should be good right but seems like Gigabyte just dodged all shipments that were meant for OCUK or something see like million on ebay and none here....

I saw Gigabyte shipped to a competitor today so i really hope we get some soon at OC too im waiting at the back of the line on the Eagle.

Regarding prebuilds surely if someone ordered one it would place them in the same GPU queue as us and therefore they would be waiting until their allocated GPU became available so their build could be built and sent out. That would at least be fair (although I realise this could be unlikely). Although I have realised the card I ordered is such a chonk that I am going to have to change my thick boy rad to a slim to be able to fit it in. Would get a new case but the missus will ask too many difficult questions if I do that.

When they say 'small amount of stock arriving today', do we have any idea what sort of numbers they are talking about? I don't know if that means 5 or 100, a rough estimate would be helpful. I purchased the 3080 with PayPal credit (planning to pay it off early next year) so I'm not too happy potentially being charged interest and my credit rating taking a hit for something I have absolutely no idea when i will get it but at the same time I've got all my other components ready and badly want it all sorted for when Cyberpunk is out so i don't want to cancel and then not play the game ive been looking forward to more than any in my life until next year. First world problems ay. Im 781 in the queue apparently, an update would be nice....


I wish I held onto my 980ti now so I could at least start Cyberpunk on lower settings.

781? You won’t be getting the card before Cyberpunk. Unless there’s a big swing in numbers delivered, I’d say you’ll be lucky to get it before Christmas.

Well if AMD release a card that outperforms the 3080, has 16gb VRAM and is cheaper then I'm sure nvidia didnt want to be stuck with a surplus of the 10gb as the 20gb would have to be released at the same MSRP.
