*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I'm taking the I'm prepared to wait I have a 1080 that works. I can still game and today I gave up a decent position in the queue for the msi gaming x trio and ordered the strix instead. I'd been uneasy about the msi since ordering mostly because of the graphine cover, pretty poor power management considering 3 8pin. I was considering the evga FTW however it's not available to order but I'm very happy with the strix

Where are you seeing information of it being delayed until the end of November? I know that Gigabyte UK posted a tweet recently mentioning production is happening recently (which has past as of a few days ago), but due to golden week (this week) to expect delays
Wait, wut?

The only tweet I've seen says "Gaming OC and Eagle more in next 7 days" (Sep 29th) - no talk about delays or production 'happening recently' or it being delayed until November! @GIGA-Man - feel free to step in here on this...

It's probably because it's full of people asking the same questions that can be answered by searching on a forum :D

Where is the information regarding Strix OC cards that OcUK hasn't started shipping yet but the "competitors" have in the forums then?

"we will send an update after each shipment with your new position" Yeah right

Wow, I can see Strix customers start to get pretty annoyed now (well more annoyed then they are already) It does beg the question where is the Overclockers stock? If they have had some have they been used for pre-builds? and if so, how can they justify to continue taking pre-orders for such cards if there is no plan to try and combat the already rather large queues buy actually sending out some cards.

"We are one of the biggest Nvidia partners and will get stock before anyone else". That's 2 competitors that have started shipping Strix before OcUK ffs.

Honestly, I get the impression OCUK are past caring.

Maybe I phrased that wrong, but yes you're mostly right on the tweet front. "However, this could be delayed by national holidays" - I guess that applies to all cards being sent over

Talked to customer service over the phone regarding Strix and they just told me to follow Gibbo's posts here and that they don't know anything about it.

It says NVIDIA partner not ASUS partner

OcUK may still have shipped more cards total than any other supplier (just not ASUS cards) - although difficult to know.

but... but...

"Although we may not currently have the stock available to fulfill every order immediately, we are in the best possible position to acquire it before every other UK retailer. This means the only place to preorder right now is at Overclockers UK!"

Has anyone here on the OC forums actually come back to say they have received a card from OC yet?

All I see are people who are 7th, 9th, 16th, 44th (in my case), just staying still in the queue. These aren't huge numbers, yet no-one seems to be getting anywhere!

There was a brief moment last week, where it appeared they had realised that we aren't just forum users, we are their customers......and then briefly flirted with the idea of keeping us up to date. It actually worked, we felt like they actually gave a ****. And then, like a kid with ADHD, they just kind of gave up on it and did something else instead!

As far as I can tell all pre-builds show the 3080 as out of stock, so does anyone actually have any proof whatsoever that they have shipped even 1 pre-build with a 3080 in it?

When I looked yesterday there was one option showing a Gigabyte 3090 as available but I suspect that was just an error, no 3080s at all though.

That would mean that Gibbo's updates don't reflect the real quantities of stock they get, and that email queue updates aren't sent after every shipment as promised.

Still looks ******.

Does this fall under false advertisement? It seems it does if we could prove it.

Cause no one is getting anywhere man, all I have learnt from the last few days is that no one knows anything except what they do know(AIB employees) are not at liberty to tell us. Supposedly they 'wish they could'.
