*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Really wish we had an update on the inno3d x4, have had no stock and no eta, could be next week, next month or next year.

Currently ready to jump ship if find another card pop up.

Here's to another day of refreshing sites

Why is it other retailers have their Strix 3080 OC orders going out yet OCUK haven’t had anything

Didn’t Gibbo say he was expecting them a few weeks ago?

Same here, my 1080ti will do fine until my card (eventually) arrives. I knew when I placed the order that I would be in for a long wait. It was obvious from the hype leading up to the launch that there would be a mad scramble for these cards so I'm not shocked or bothered by having to wait my turn. I also knew before placing my order that the Strix cards wouldn't be available until sometime after launch so, again, I'm not shocked by the long wait times.

As you say, no rush.

I kept my 2070S just in case there was a delay in the 3080's. Glad I did, got a mate looking to buy it off me once I get the 3080 still and hes in no rush to have that off me. So as much as im a lil peeved by the delay its just nothing OcUK can help so im fine with waiting.

How many cancellations do we think there will be if the AMD 'big navi' looks like a good buy?

I for one will be jumping ship if that's the case.

I am 5th in GB Gaming OC so between 1 and 4 were shipped...

Looks like quite a few of these shipments might literally be just a few cards. There's other queues published elsewhere which you can monitor and MSI stock came in and the queue literally dropped 2 places. Hopefully now that the MSI from OCUK have shipped they'll do an update email on queue place and we can compare our positions before/after to see how many shipped.

Well my bet is that a lot of people will do is simply preorder Navi as well and then compare queues and then make a call later on of likely speed of delivery vs how good the cards are. Thing is that my hunch is that AMD will have a silicon shortage launching so close to both next gen consoles which both use TSMC and have insane global demand. I'm calling this now, the AMD queues won't be any better, especially with a lot of people getting increasingly more impatient with their Nvidia orders.

If they shipped the 3080 TUF OC yesterday and I still didn’t get an update on the queue position, that’s disappointing as it means the update doesn’t go out after the stuff ships
Makes me wonder if it’s all done manually instead of having an automated stock system

Or they are being put into pre-builds and sold ahead of those waiting in the 'Card only' queues. I can't think of another reason why they are being so vague with the shipment volumes.

Reached out to kfa2 as have heard pretty much nothing from OC,finally got a response back today and they just tell me to ask OC as "They are in queue of shipment"... what ever that means!
I tried to contact them too, thanks for giving us their response ! If they are in a queue then I expect OC to give us some more info rather than us having to hunt for it ffs

I highly doubt this, that's a lot more work for them with very little additional return, and if people found out they were doing it, then there would be a lot of fallout. I think the vagueness more likely comes from their suppliers not knowing themselves and a lot of this being kind of just in time shipping/delivery. The other thing is that I think the amounts are so small initially that once people see the lack of movement and extrapolate their position in the queue, they're more likely to cancel. If you wait and an entire week and find out only 2-3 cards shipped out to customers and you're say 500th in queue, you're more likely to just refund.

We know some Gigabyte Visions went out yesterday (13th in the queue got one shipped), they didn't go on sale on the 17th, and someone who ordered on the 26th reported queue position 38th. So I suspect that is a shorter queue, and we know at least some exist, if I was buying now that is what I'd go for.

Otherwise, honestly I'd ring and do a phone sale, since they likely have more info on the queue lengths. Avoid Asus and MSI, all their cards have MASSIVE queues, as does the Gigabyte Eagle. OC currently don't seem to have got any EVGA cards yet so they also seem a bad choice for a new order.
Great update on the Visions thank you.

They'll have been pumping out silicon for the consoles for a long time by now. I think there will be a shortage as well but not because of the consoles.

So, they don't have any gigabyte eagles here but I've seen a few sold elsewhere and people have them this for this week. So evidently OCUK has lied about being in the best position.

Guessing there are more Ventus to be sent today as I have had not had a queue update after the shipment yesterday and they described the in as an "OK" amount and out as a "Small" amount.

Fingers crossed.
