*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

But they have started arriving, I am saying as I know other people who got that card the same day or after me and have it. People got shipped it yesterday and today but on here there was no activity.
Yeah I agree with you, but they are still very small batches. What I'm saying is that a larger shipment 'maybe' heading in the direction of OCUK. Not just to satisfy 10 people in the queue, but maybe a lot more. That's not a fact, just a possibility.

Love to see OC shipping out some Gigabytes now, gives me hope. Im around 600 ish in the queue for the Gigabyte Eagle OC so i hope they get some Eagle shipments in soon. Its a shame i didnt get one of the other Gigabytes maybe id be lower/higher up in the queue :P

The vagueness would be removed when they took receipt of the stock - and I can't believe they don't know what they are being sent until it arrives. When it's shipped to them, they will be informed of the package manifest. But I will agree that they aren't making these numbers visible because they know it will impact the cancellations - however, that's shady IMO, and people here are figuring out the numbers - and the supposed vague numbers still don't marry up with their own queue - some lower numbered queue customers still haven't had their cards after a 'small' shipment.

All 100 speculation on my part of course - but that's what happens when you don't get good, consistent information and purposefully vague numbers/responses.

Well the email on the queue position stated we'd get email updates after stock has shipped, so I'm expecting we'll get an update email in the near future, and then we can compare and simply get the real value of how many shipped out. My bet is the simple answer to all this is that hardly any shipped and that explains everything without the need for speculating about what else might be happening. The shipping manifests they'll probably only get 24 hours or so prior to delivery, I don't know what people gain by knowing that. The bottom line here is, shipments are slow, queues are long and people simply have to cope waiting or go buy a scalped one at a markup. None of this speculation is really helping anything, the queue wont go faster because you know your place in it. I think the queue emails are sufficient for now and for people who really care a lot can infer queue movement from these. I'll post my queue delta once I know it and that'll inform people of at least the MSI Ventus 3080 of how many came/gone. But also as has been said a few times already, production expects to ramp up towards the end of the month, so it'll probably be a painful 2-3 weeks and then we'll see much bigger queue movements.

I stupidly ordered the Asus TUF (non OC) which hasn't shipped any according to the shipment thread. Would I be better cancelling and spending the little bit more for the OC or another brand with less of a queue? I am aware that due to my late nature of ordering I likely won't see my order this year but every little helps.

Also new here, checked all my emails but found no indication of any queue position, where would I find that?

There has been deliveries of the TUF Non OC, at least two lots in the first week or so, buyers posted dispatch emails in the old thread, at that time it was all Non OC's going out and the OC versions were not seen.

Really wish we had an update on the inno3d x4, have had no stock and no eta, could be next week, next month or next year.

Currently ready to jump ship if find another card pop up.

Here's to another day of refreshing sites

Looking at that danish store they haven't received any, thing is the queue is that small that if OC get any stock then it should be a short wait time. But seems they are prioritizing the east market over us. which is a shame.

Not at all you are going to be here everyday moaning & waiting until next year that’s the reality ! While your here crying I’m playing the latest games at 4K ultra , the 1080ti is 50% slower! enjoy cyberpunk on your slow GPU sucker, you won’t be getting 3080 until next year .
You can gloat all you want, it doesn't make financial sense to pay that much for the card. If it would have taken you 3 months to get your card through normal channels thats £100 a month it has cost you just because you couldn't wait.

In fact it cost you more than that because you sold your 1080ti, then bought another one:
Well I made the mistake of selling my 1080TI a few weeks back hoping id bag myself 3080 ! LMAO well I've come to the conclusion now I'm not getting one until next year ! so I've gone back on Ebay and ordered myself another 1080TI HA.

You yourself said it was sensible to wait:
People need to stop getting sucked in to this world of I must have the newest tech now! Just wait it out , Pc games are not going any where , if anything pc games will run better in 3 or 4 months time when new drivers are released for them , I would like 3090 myself but I am not pre ordering one ill just wait until stock becomes available , if you go by past releases of next gen cards your looking at 3 -4 months before supply becomes stable. Come Jan everyone will be able to buy one mark my words, I defo wont be buying from oc ! Still can’t believe they get away with charging customers £20 for delivery in 2020 when I know for a fact it cost them know where near that to ship out cards.
So why did you change your mind?

You even said you hate these ebay scammers:

I must admit I've sent a couple messages to these scalper guys and lets just put it this way , They are all greedy and rude.... unless your offering them £1400 they d

From my experience the people selling these CARDS are Horrid Scammy idots who are rude and arrogant ! They are all making up the same excuses I didn't mean to order two ! really **** o** The world is full of muppets at the moment trying to Rip other people off it makes my blood boil.

How can we take you seriously?

Another day of being mid 20's in a queue for a card that doesn't seem to exist goes by (Strix 3080 non-OC). Pains me knowing I'm potentially in the first batch for a card that will probably never arrive.

That's not necessarily a silicon shortage causing a console shortage. We have no idea what part of the supply chain is holding it up. It could be as simple as a slow down in assembly due to Covid.

That's true, but I think that's a safe bet given that it's a component common to the PS5, the Xbox Series X and all the variants of those, plus all of AMDs Navi range. They're all going to be fighting over the output of TSMC and they're all massive global players. If there's a bottleneck it's bound to be there. But yes, it's all guesswork, I could be wrong and Big Navi could spring into existence with plentiful numbers and have zero problems, but I highly doubt it.

Can you change my error, from a 3090 to 3080 on there please?
No problem, done.

I think some non-OC TUFs went out earlier on. None in the most recent batch this week though.

The TUF OC also has 800+ now, so cancelling and ordering it won't help much, and may be worse depending on your current queue position. Other cards I'm still guessing Gigabyte Vision as being shorter than most, and we know some stock has come in and out.

The email with queue details went out on Friday around 1:30pm with the title "Queue Position Update - <order number>".

What time did you order? The spreadsheet should be able to give you a ballpark of where in the queue you would be.

Can you confirm, that's NON-OC? or did you just forget to include OC?

Yet to see any asus non-OC anythings ship from anywhere yet

Yeah, those were OC. All yesterdays ASUS seemed to be OC, but I'm fairly sure people reported some 3080 TUF that were non-OC shipped a week or two ago. I am losing track now though

I added myself, where can I see the full spreadsheet?

Here (or in my signature... does everyone have signatures turned off or something?)

I think they had some non-OC TUF cards in the initial release batch on the 17th

I tried to contact them too, thanks for giving us their response ! If they are in a queue then I expect OC to give us some more info rather than us having to hunt for it ffs
Saw a guy on reddit also post that the company in Finland he ordered his from has 10 arriving on the 15th hopefully thats an indication of when we might see something. Its also nice to see the company he ordered from give them a date and amount expected instead of zero information what so ever...

I doubt it as well, I just don't think TSMC will be the biggest bottleneck. But it's semantics at the end of the day. They can't do any worse than nVidia this time around though (saying that, if anyone can screw it up... AMD do have a track record...). That they aren't rushing to announce or launch is a sign that things will hopefully be a bit better. Y'know, more than 4 people might get their card in the first week, maybe it will be a whole 8!

Expect the worst, hope for the best.

Yay DPD just delivered my Haribo and overclockers included a free Ventus... Now just to work out how to squeeze it in. Few things to move until the waterblock arrives
