As I said, Zen 3 will be the best CPU for gaming soon ;)

Now that that is pretty much a certainty. You guys buying one? :p

I'll probably get the 16-core in about a year when they are cheaper. My 3800x is doing fine now. My 1080Ti is struggling with my Reverb, so I need a GPU, not a CPU.

Debating over 5900x vs 5950x. Either way it's a big upgrade over my 1950x in terms of gaming but with the 16 core it would stomp my current cpu for rendering in 3ds max.

GN video states the memory controller is the same and so will FCLK speeds: https://youtu.be/n-AanO3Axzk?t=785

3600 RAM still the best. Kind of disappointed in that but meh.

Also wtf... he says B450 boards aren't getting support till January 2021.

Kinda sucks about the memory. Was looking forward to a big bump there.

That CSGO percentage number looks farfetched. Linus review has the 3700x at 550fps which is likely close to the 3900XT frame rate. 40% better performance is about 800fps...

Gamers Nexus also confirmed AMD's benchmarks ran with 3,600 RAM on both platforms. No way they ran 3600C14 tuned memory so expect another 2-3% improvements if these numbers are to be believed.

Let's not even talk about League being at 50%...

You would think the 8 core would be the best gaming chip on one ccx, you can see the 12 core fall behind the 10990k in bf5 that uses more than 8 cores.

People complaining about the extra price should remember, we have been getting screwed over by high prices from Intel for years. If AMD's claims of having the best gaming CPU's are actually true then the 50 dollar premium is expected and quite frankly I don't mind paying it
