*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Overclockers clearly tries to seem bigger and more important than they actually are. And it worked on me at least as I believed this.
at this point they can at least brag they have the biggest queues and waiting lists
There are not many companies around that literally do not care about their customers. I think OCUK have been left in a difficult situation due to nvidia.
yes nvidia started this but OC's greed has put themselves in their current position
How come i am seeing paid aids at the top of the forum now on my mobile? Monetise the forum?
use an ad blocker :) - ads would **** me right off just now. as if OC havn't made enough cash in the last few weeks lol

So approx 170 cards shipped in 3 weeks?

That's a big yikes for everyone involved right there...

Hi mate, thanks for your effort, there is some interesting info but unless everyone joins in a lot is pretty meaningless. I am nearly 300th in the queue for a gaming oc gigabyte, but the spreadsheet shows about 20 sold because of lack of information

Don't know how that happened this was meant for Wesley

A lot of suppliers think that what is in their T'S &C'S Is gospel. it is not, they can write what they like but it is what's in the UK distance selling regulations which is law

But these concern "orders". You cannot "order" an RTX 3080 at OCUK. You can only "pre-order" them.

Every day I come on here and read pages and pages in hopes of some good news at all. Why do I even bother?

P.S. Queue No. 1430 for Tuf non-OC. haven't moved a single spot ever since the first email

But does it give you any more rights than a full refund, which they are already offering?
exactly. talk of legalities of their T&Cs is just going to get your orders cancelled to shut you up :) - right now they have the upper hand and they know it. Until we snag one elsewhere we have to suck it up and hope things improve

I do wonder what caseking think of these practices though ;)

Well well well, fancy seeing you here wedge

Money has been taken. A product has been promised. Under EU law (which we still work under) if it has not been delivered beyond 30 days, you are entitled to a refund. Even if it is a pre-order, the product is available. It is a released so it would be reasonable to expect the product within 30 days of payment being taken

Which the refund is already being offered so your point is irrelevant lol obviously not being a dick but I really don't see why this is even an issue considering people can cancel at anytime

True, but to be honest I am sick of looking, all these stupid tracker bots are crap, I saw one yesterday saying a 2080TI was in stock for a certain price and when I looked it wasn't went back and it still said it was in stock. Updated every minute my arse. And then there are all the adverts trying to sell you one for nearly £2000 which makes me sick, this all just does my head in. I see guys on here saying Oh I am cancelling because I got one from Europe, well I looked at several shops in Europe and they are all asking around 900 to a thousand Euro's so unless these guys are paying over a grand it beats the hell outa me

G'day mate do I know you?

Well I was pumped because of the Gaming OC info on the gigabyte ones but apparently nothing shipped or changed.

Im 8th in the q, but ive seen some competitors having some in stock straight away so I really might cancel.
Ive heard from 5th in the q and he has no info, shippment or update of it aswell so I have to guess that or none shipped or they received less than 5 and that makes me worried.

Im waiting until end of next, Im canceling after.

Good luck to all of you guys

Indeed. I'd rather the refund choice was my own as it is now.
If nothing comes of 3080 trinity non OC by the 15th then I might cancel and use my money elsewhere and maybe order a 3080 next year when stock issues are better.. Still don't know whether I will cancel or not but I am in 2 minds lol

Could always see how Big Navi performs :)

its gonna be close but i think its going to miss out on some bells and whistles and unless its at a 3070 pricepoint i can't see many jumping for it. most will likely cancel and make do with a 20 series until next year when prices will eventually settle. that is unless a 3070 is enough for them and they can snag one of those early enough :)
