*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Although we may not currently have the stock available to fulfill every order immediately, we are in the best possible position to acquire it before every other UK retailer. This means the only place to preorder right now is at Overclockers UK!

Same boat. Regret ordering the non-OC version.

ASUS probably doesn't care to make these right now, if they can just flash everything with the OC bios, why sell the cheaper version when everyone is going to buy the more expensive one anyway? The cost to make the OC vs non-OC for ASUS is literally the same.

We'll only see the non-OC version in substantial numbers when there's a surplus of OC cards on shelves.

Asus themselves, said that's not the case on multiple occasions and that all are produced on an equal basis....how true that is remains to be seen mind you.

Bit the bullet last nigh and ordered a Gigabyte Eagle OC. No idea where I will be in the queue. I'm guessing that reddit post from the Norwegian shop is a fairly typical breakdown of the popularity of the various cards versus the stock getting through at the moment.
I thought the Eagle would be one of the more popular cards out there. Looks like I'm not wrong.

Obviously I'm not holding my breath to get my card. I'm guessing late November is probably being realistic. Anything sooner will be a nice surprise I suppose.

I don't believe them. We're seeing it from shipments, and not just UK, internationally. It's been almost all OC version so far.

I'm hoping OCUK and @Gibbo are working on something good, decent order of all cards, in the past they have been forthcoming with information and advice, even to the point of recommending cheaper products when they don't have to, so this situation is unusual for them.

At the current rate of supply it'll be well into 2021. OC still taking preorders with no front load info on stock/queues is leading to much frustration here. Hope I'm wrong!

Got my card Thursday this week and I just popped back in to say seriously this wait might be a good thing. I get multiple crashes a day, some while gaming some while just doing things like using Microsoft teams. My screen will
completely freeze but the computer will be functional otherwise. It’s quite frustrating so you guys having a wait might be a good thing to sort this stuff out in the mean time I’m seriously considering putting my 5700xt back in just for system stability, not a joke sadly.

Would need to see a dramatic increase in production over the next few weeks for you to see it this year. At the current rate it would take about 6 months but I think you can optimistically expect it delivered before that.

Have you tried a manual undervolt/underclock?

Also which model do you have?

Did you use DDU to completely uninstall your old display drivers?
