*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

You know... OCUK is behaving like a company that is going to fold and take all of our money with them. I mean why else would you continue to take back orders yet not order/deliver many to customers? Why else maintain almost total radio silence?

Sure they are drip feeding some SKU, but these were probably part of their pre-launch orders, not part of the stock they have ordered post launch based on actual orders?

I mean why else take peoples funds in full (not normal) for a 'pre order' instead of just doing a pre-auth on the funds and then taking the funds on actual despatch (which is actually normal behaviour)

I know this company is really old and been trading for a long time.

However this pandemic & recession does weird and wonderful things to finances.

I personally am starting to see warning signs. I mean there can only be so many explanations for a company to behave this way towards its customers.

I just hope i am wrong and we don't get left high and dry like when an airline/travel agent folds.

Wild conspiracy theory i know.

Cosumer rights in the UK are a beautiful thing.

Don't you know its dangerous to take off your tinfoil hat?

I'm pretty much at the point now where I don't want the cards to come into stock. It's now getting far too close to the drops of other models - AMD, 20Gb rumours, TSMC variants of 3080, 3070 benchmarks. That being said, I fully expect much better availability over the next week or two.
