*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Probably just means they set it up as a promotional product item, as in, buy card get these two products free so it shows up on account. It makes sense to not let us have codes until the card because can just redeem and cancel the cards and play game for free.

Saying that, I dont think I even saw it as a promotion at all on overclockers, but I dont think its a retailer promotion but an Nvidia / board partner one.

Yeah that's true, I was hoping as its listed in my order history they wouldnt be able to wriggle out of it.....not that I'm too worried tbh

Well, if its any consolation, my now cancelled (or soon to be) pre-order for the 3090 strix oc, didn't have any mention of the watchdogs offer in my account, at all.
So, I would assume if its there, you have it allocated to you. I did however get it with my FE elsewhere.

Sick of waiting, Cancelled Pre-order yesterday today went to a rival store (Not Named) and ordered a 3090 it is being delivered tomorrow. It took 3 attempts to get a simple watercooling order right. Not the way things should be done.

I saw there is one in stock in a rival store this afternoon and placed the order. Unfortunately, it was too late but I was told by them the next ETA is 9th November and they could keep my order as back order so I accepted, as I don't think OCUK will ship mine before that date.

when did you order yours? Mine was on the 21st September.

Just raised another ticket with them, the website says shipping end of November now. I hope that’s only if you order now and not over a month ago.

I’ve got a load of other stuff on the same order I want sooner than 2 months after I ordered it if that’s going to be the case.

Gonna be pretty ****** if they push back deliver by 6 weeks
I ordered mine on the 24th of sept. Didn’t order from ek though. Ordered from the competition. Was originally going to go for the fe 3090 but after the 3080 fiasco I decided against it. I will probably have the water block before the card turns up anyway. I’m no.35 in-line for the 3090 strix oc from the competition.

Well, @Gibbo said this yesterday: An OK amount of Palit 3080 and 3090 Gaming Pro / Gaming Pro OC are due with OcUK this Wednesday. (These are now due with us tomorrow).
Being at #2 in the queue, I was hoping for a dispatch today :(

the new GPU waterblocks/backplates will start shipping around the 12th of October 2020 due to the high volume of pre-orders which we have received in the last few days, so please expect a shipping notification of your order .
........... in the 3rd/4th week of October 2020.this is what i got ordered on the 24th

Same here, can you report back what happens if you don’t mind.

So what is happening with the Watch Dogs thing? As the game comes out next week, looks like im going to have to buy it -_- whilst waiting for Strix OC

Trying to update as many people as possible about my findings, might create a separate thread if results are positive.

I've reached out to every possible support contact & social manager from ASUS & their ROG teams on all forms of social media and their direct @asus e-mails, with nobody knowing who specifically is internally dealing with the promotion. Not even the promotion team could help me.

Because the promotion itself is directly an Nvidia promotion, where AIBs are indirectly giving away codes for purchases of their cards.

The most promising results I have had so far are by speaking to Nvidia's Live Chat on their site: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/chat/chat_launch/

From there, they create a support ticket as they have with me and ask for Proof of purchase (Invoice), Photo of the Serial Number on the card & Screenshot of the e-mail where Overclockers stated that they couldn't help me due to exhausting stock of their codes.

So far, that's where I am - spoke to them about 15 minutes ago. When I hear back, I'll let you guys know the further results or whether it's worth everyone doing the same etc

Excellent, thanks for keeping us updated. I got no where with ASUS so this looks promising.
