*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Even if every single person ahead of me in the queue for the Asus TUF non-OC were to cancel, I'd still take months to get this card it feels like.

At some point, they have to send some, surely? SURELY THEY EXIST?!
Yeah, this coming month.

AIBs were sent what they needed far too late by Nvidea to produce anything like the demand needed for launch day.
They all got shipped as fast as possible, then there were the holidays and golden week beginning of this month.
The big uptick in production will start landing here first couple of weeks of November. That's when we should start seeing far more people getting cards.

All the cancellations happening now just make it more likely you'll get your card in November.

Does anyone have a link to that spreadsheet someone was maintaining with order data? (Haven't seen it mentioned for a little while, did the creator get their card? :P)

Gonna try and make one that compares OCUK with [popular competitor] to see who's really getting the most orders completed on which cards.

You speak kind words and they fall on grateful ears.

Fingers crossed moving from 635 to somewhere below 600...
Ooh, we're disappointed nerd (nearly) neighbours! I'm 638 and expect to regale my grandchildren from a dusty book of the great GPU shortage of 2020, when genius scientists managed to find the first ever vaccine for a coronavirus more quickly than Overclockers could negotiate stock of a gaming card.

Yeah I've never moved in the queue, so can confirm this...

To my knowledge nowhere globally has received a non-OC TUF since shortly after launch day. I'm not even sure OC TUFs are moving currently, I'm only seeing people get OC Strix in the ASUS group.

Having loitered in the background since launch day, watching to see what was going on, I've just had confirmation that my Inno3D 3080 X3 has been dispatched... and ahead of schedule! I was 10th in the queue, placing my order within the 1st hour after launch. Thanks Gibbo and Team! It must be super stressful for you and your team but no complaints here :) Now to wait for preorders on the Ryzen 5000s to open! In the meantime, I'll be the guy in the Steam Stats running a 3080 on a core i5 750!

I havent received no email and im 12th are these guys taking the **** or something

I placed order on 16/10/2020
Ouch
It's gonna be a four digit number buddy much like mine and I ordered the non o.c version a month ago. You will most likely receive a email containing your queue position tomorrow along with the rest of us. That is hopefully going to drop the numbers due to cancellations. Best of my knowledge neither of our choices are shipping anywhere in the UK currently And have not since week one from launch

What's more exclusive than owning (or at least paying for) something that doesn't exist? :p

I'm at the acceptance stage of my order

I sold my zotac amp extreme 1080ti to fund the upgrade

Used a temp gtx 660 for a few weeks
Now a buddy has lent me his 980ti so I can atleast play stuff cuz the 660 is literally a potato for modern games

I'm 460 in the queue for Asus TUF OC 3080 so I have no real hopes of seeing it anytime soon

A buddy of mine is 7th in the queue for the zotac holo 3080 and they apparently release at the end of the month with any luck he gets his card in the first batch because he has promised that he will lend me his 1080ti to see me through

What happens if AMD smash it out the park this time round for 500-550 and nvidia drop there prices? Do we get a partial refund if our order is still outstanding? I highly doubt this will happen but just out of interest?

Eveey day we wait were one step closer to missing out on a free copy of watchdogs I hope they either extend the offer or change the game for valhalla or farcry 6 because I'm planning on getting all 3 them anyway so I'm not arsed which one I get but I will be miffed if they don't give nothing especially as I paid my money during the promotional period
A simple solution for people so far back in the queue is to order a less popular card like a Zotac if you want one this year. Send a webnote ask how long the queues are first though.

I am very lucky I managed to score a 3090 FE. While I spent so much more than I meant to the reality is the queueing stressed me out and checking these forums gives me anxiety.

Best of luck guys, I hope you get yours ASAP

need to get a new gpu, was wanting to pre-order a 3080 in the next week, is it even worth going for it with the queue times? Should I try my luck on the 3070s when they launch?
If you order a Palit, PNY or Zotac you will probably not be in for a long wait the other more popular brands will have way more back orders.
