Put a pre-order in on a ASUS TUF Non-OC, Queue Position 358 -> 334 -> 314.

I gave up on OC a few days ago and installed distill.io to keep an eye on UK suppliers that actually had stock. In the end it wasn't needed as I saw a post on reddit, and managed to get in before their stock was sold out - and have a Inno3D x4 3080 arriving Wed.

Still a bit miffed with OC. Their policy of keep pre-order open means that if the ASUS TUF non-OC failed to deliver, they'd be unable to offer to move over to other 3080 where's the stock isn't pre-ordered or new models. As has I've heard another supplier has been kindly doing.

I'm not too bothered about the wait as I still have a pretty well functioning PC.

However, to help others get an idea, as I don't see much Zotac news, I went from 59 --> 55.

OCUK were meant to get an OK amount in this week, from which I am led to believe is approximately 50 units.

Its fair to assume this hasn't yet arrived with them and the 4 position moves are potentially cancellations.

Best of luck to everyone still waiting.

Hello everyone, long-time compulsive thread-checker, first time poster. :)

I'm in the Strix 3080 non-OC queue. Went from 113 to 104 today. Getting very twitchy watching the Strix OC backlog numbers coming down on other retailers with no word on the non-OC versions. Also watching Big Navi with growing enthusiasm. In 20+ years of computer building this would've been the first time ever that I got a premium Nvidia graphics card at launch, but looks like destiny wants me to go back to AMD. :D

BTW, I work for an industrial tech company that imports components from Asia, and in a meeting today we heard that freight coming out of China is a nightmare right now. Air freight has been a mess because of global travel restrictions (a lot of air freight travels in the hold of commercial passenger planes, so if they aren't flying then freight costs skyrocket and queues build up in warehouses) and shipping ports are a mess with the added cargo (not to mention Brexit is making everything for the UK much worse). Plus Apple has apparently out-bid a lot of businesses for new iPhone shipments on air-freight, so stuff is being delayed because of that too. All in all I'm not surprised that the OC team is getting very sporadic updates on where stock is and when it'll arrive. I guess it's going to be really telling what happens when Big Navi launches and whether the same problems occur.

Interesting mate. thanks

This is useful info, thanks for sharing

Still #18 for a tuf OC, I'm a bit surprised things have gone so quiet on the asus front to be honest. As others have said I'm hoping it means they're building up a bit of stock and we'll have a nice surprise soon.

I dont think they have received the cards on time given the queue positions, thats not a bad thing! Next week hopefully the queue will drop by another 100 or so!

Congrats! Month and a bit? Could be worse.

They seem to get a shipment out every week or fortnight at least
I was annoyed I didn't order the non OC at first as they are shipping a lot more of those
But then when you look at other companies shipping lots of OC and no non OC at all
At least palit are actually putting the better silicone on the OC cards it seems hence the much lower numbers
