Oh who am I kidding... if I thought I would be quick enough to snag one when they became available elsewhere, I would be long gone too.
 
I was 783 in queue for the tuf but I decided to cancel as the queue was just way to long plus my GPU broke 2 week's before the launch went for the aorus master instead ordered last Friday and I'm 175 in queue

There's nothing to unravel. Seems you're taking things more seriously than I am...

How many times do I have to say that I couldn't care less? I'm not arguing about the supply vs. shipment.

Example - I ordered 85x MPO - 4x LC cables from China 3-4 weeks ago. My vendor tells me they'll take x-time to manufacture and ship.

I get an update *as soon* as those cables are manufactured.

The next day I get shipment details telling me they're leaving Chinese mainland.

I get a follow-up email a week later to say those cables are in Germany and that I should expect them in then next 7 days.

That's what you call being shipped from Asia... not the message that I've quoted several times above.

Anyway - I've had enough. I wish I'd never bothered ... I've spent so much money with OCUK since 2009 that I know who I'm working with and that they're doing their best. My 3080 will arrive when it arrives.

Straight from Gibbo's post in the stock update thread...

*BUILD ALLOCATION*

I see people asking about build/SI stock.

When I speak to board partners I speak to them regarding B2C stock (retail consumers) and that is the stock they allocate to me.

The board partners also have SI allocation which is for SI partners only and our SI team gets that allocation and that is booked under build stock and is purposely ONLY for SI.

As a total we get extra allocation from board partners due to them also allocating us stock from their SI allocation for our SI builds department (system integration).

As such builds do not impact your queue position or take away from retail allocation. They are treated separately as such and allocated separately by board partners with our SI brands.

Iv ordered from these guys before but mainly brought my stuff in-store as there only about 10 min drive away from me but I agree they are a great company they can't gv what they don't have
 
Well I am cursed (lol), I cancelled my order few weeks ago, then had my mind set on the 3080 20gb version and now that card has been cancelled, so I have made a full circle and ordered a MSI G X TRIO 3080 AGAIN lol.... ETA MARCH 2021? hahaha

Einstein said the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing and expecting a different result. Why didn't you order one of the less favoured models, unless of course you like waiting ?

Ah I am a creature of habit, I have been using the Gaming X Trio models for years, I am the same when it comes to takeaways, I will always order the same food off the menu because I know it will be good lol
 
I've ordered a asus strix 3080 oc was 633 on last email. Todays email 607, just though this info useful to folk who trying to figure out how many people have cancelled there order, no units have been received or sent for Dame sure
