Well, that's been a fun filled 24 hours. I'm personally keeping my eyes (and credit card) open for opportunities. At 1084 in the queue for Asus Non-OC TUF, I knew it would be a while before this new info, but with it....
Thanks
@Gibbo for the update....some people may lose the plot, but the vast majority just value transparency, and the ability to make informed choices rather than suffer 'mushroom syndrome'.
That said....I don't agree that Non OC TUF queue positions should be given the chance to swap queues, just the same as I found it an incredibly **** move to allow queue swaps of any kind initially.
And it comes back to preorders again....hopefully new buyers might soon be notified clearly of the queue status, even if it's just a category eg <100 or >1500 (for non OC TUF

).
If preorders had been capped at a sensible level based on realistic expectations, then maybe OCUK would be in a position to offer swaps once initial backlogs were filled, as has a similar competitor.
Who complains more? Someone who couldn't place a pre-order for a obviously sought after product, or someone kept in a huge queue with no realistic hope of excessive movement? And which one is more damaging to business reputation? I'm not annoyed at the main competitor for not taking orders at the moment....I'm just narked I didn't order there originally.
