*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Not sure what you expect, what happens if you redeem the code and then cancel your pre-order....you've got a free game.
I expect that they should increase the redemption period for a lot longer for those like me who have pre-ordered and have the code assigned to their order but may not get their card before the code expires end of next month do not miss out. Also I expect that if the codes "run out" then they should not be included in new orders. Does that sound unreasonable to you?

Upgrade orders on TUF OC cards to OC. GIVE PEOPLE CHOICE !!!!
Now this, this is a good example of not being reasonable. Lol.

I would love it, but it would not be fair on others. What they should be doing sending out equal amounts. If they lose out on a little extra profit, then they should. That would be reasonable.

We want TUF, it is bot our fault that retailer sold us product which manufacturer has no plans on making. Give us a choice.

Yes and ASUS should be making it right by sending out more non-OC. What you are asking for does not seem reasonable, but selfish unfortunately. All you have to do is put yourself in the shoes of someone who decided to pay more and go TUF OC to see that. If roles were reversed you would not be happy about someone else jumping in front of you?

I just dropped £100 over RRP on a TUF just so I can get out of this nightmare and stop waiting and not knowing how many weeks or months it'll be till I get what I ordered.
Unfortunately was cancelled 10mins after the order went through. But I know where my price point for getting out and being able to cancel here now is...

Well, that's been a fun filled 24 hours. I'm personally keeping my eyes (and credit card) open for opportunities. At 1084 in the queue for Asus Non-OC TUF, I knew it would be a while before this new info, but with it....

Thanks @Gibbo for the update....some people may lose the plot, but the vast majority just value transparency, and the ability to make informed choices rather than suffer 'mushroom syndrome'.

That said....I don't agree that Non OC TUF queue positions should be given the chance to swap queues, just the same as I found it an incredibly **** move to allow queue swaps of any kind initially.

And it comes back to preorders again....hopefully new buyers might soon be notified clearly of the queue status, even if it's just a category eg <100 or >1500 (for non OC TUF :p).

If preorders had been capped at a sensible level based on realistic expectations, then maybe OCUK would be in a position to offer swaps once initial backlogs were filled, as has a similar competitor.

Who complains more? Someone who couldn't place a pre-order for a obviously sought after product, or someone kept in a huge queue with no realistic hope of excessive movement? And which one is more damaging to business reputation? I'm not annoyed at the main competitor for not taking orders at the moment....I'm just narked I didn't order there originally. :D
