*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Hey @transbaconist , I saw Gibbo posting earlier in the day that Zotac will give a shipment update (or something like this) at the end of the week. Can't find the post now and it's a shame he didn't post this to the other thread as it is relevand info for those on the Zotac queue. Hope this will mean good news for us in the non-OC queue.

This the one you were looking for...?

Zotac are preparing a shipment end of this week, once they inform me what they are sending I shall let you guys know. Zotac have a huge open PO with us so some stock arrives without notification as its just how they work with ourselves with us being a direct customer with them so they simply let stock build up to several cartons and then ship them all at once because for obvious reason they do not just ship one carton from Hong Kong otherwise the air freight becomes quite expensive for them.

This is WiFi 6 router I recently purchased I get 1Gbps download speeds on Virginmedia. And wow is the WiFi 6 so damn good. My mobile phone, laptop and my pc use WiFi 6 and it's so good. The customisation on these routers are crazy.
I was complementing getting this Asus wifi router

But I managed to pick up this one below for £150 (same price as older one above) brand new about £30-50 less than RRP. So I got this and it's so good.

I would prefer the triband bigger brothers to these but they are double the cost. Or this one is good too I've heard. https://www.asus.com/uk/Networking/ZenWiFi-AC-CT8/

On my pc ASUS x570 has 2x2 wifi 6 and could only get 150-200 Mbps download speeds on the virgin media hub 4. The new 1Gbps one you get only on 1Gbps plan. And now on my Asus router I get close to 800Mbps download speeds and the full amount upload

Very good. Worth the money

Cheaper to use Ethernet cable for the Pc and Laptop, still get the 1Gig connection if your Hub and package are capable for a fraction of £150.

The only update yesterday was that the X3 & X4 have not left HK yet, nothing on the next batch of X2.

Gibbo originally said they will get here by end of last week or this week, hopefully still come in this week though, just not sure how long they take to get from HK/customs etc.

@GIGA-Man - I think you mentioned (in regards to Eagles) a small shipment this week, and then a larger shipment next week?

If you could let me know before the AMD launch! ;) I'm 80th in line for an Eagle, but tired of not knowing when it'll get here.

It's unlikely it will get fore filled next week but slightly possible. I would think the week after for sure.

Can't always use wired. I have always used wired last 10 years. But recently moved in February to a much larger house. And untill I can run cat6e outside around the house and up to the gaming room. WiFi has to do. Also with having many many devices in house that use WiFi like door bells Google homes Bose speakers my 14 year old sons nvidia shield pro my shield pro in bedroom. His laptop and phone. Cameras ect etc. Having amazing WiFi was worth the upgrade. Oh also a crap ton of Philips hues other wifi RGB stuff wifif light switches jesus man I have way to much crap. Oh and a bunch of wifi plug sockets too lol

Very little chance they will arrive with OCUK this week if they are still in HK at the moment.

Typically takes about a week end to end at the moment, but hopefully there will be news that they have left HK soon.

I'm currently trying to figure out the realistic prospects for non OC Asus TUF deliveries.

They haven't officially stopped making them, but seem to be sticking the OC BIOS (and price) on everything whilst the supply is so poor.

But my queue position is only in the 30s, so it wouldn't take loads coming in to fill my order. Could be late November, could be March? No idea

The other thing is that I ordered with the initial (reasonable) pricing, not the markups that we've seen since. That makes it extra hard to jump onto another queue.

What a mess.

Hmm seems more 3090's are coming in stock from a competitor. A well known one has 15 of the MSI.
Seen that as well. Annoying thing is I actually have the funds, but I’m a Yorkshireman and I’m a tight Yorkshireman. Just cannot bring myself to spend nearly twice the cost of my ordered 3080 for about a 10-15% increase in performance. So I will have to wait.

I would not mind. I want everyone to get their card this year. So what are you actually saying here. If you pay little more you deserve better service? I pre ordered TUF no OC because of zero difference between the two cards. Money was not a factor here.

No he's saying you made your choice of card and you have to live with it
Why should you get to push in front of anyone else in any other queue ?
Join the back of whatever queue you wish or wait for the card you ordered originally

I'd probably wait it out if I was position 30 but the way I'm looking at it now the situation is either going to improve tremendously or there's going to be a lot of disappointed people come December, I mean from Nvidia's standpoint things have to ramp up to compete with AMD, I'm hoping there's going to be thousands of cards flooding the stores across the globe over the next two months but yeah I switched to the OC version as it's one less thing I have to worry about. It's ****** situation but for me I'm willing to wait a little longer to get a better card anyway as I'm watercooling and it makes more sense to go with the OC version.
