Earlier this week I bought a router from China direct (not mentioning the vendor) but their tracking data shows it was shipped to the airport and on the plane just a few hours later. Within 2 days after that it had left China en route to the next stop. This is yet another reason why I'm not buying the Apple bought all the slots story. I know the vendors are an enormous company but so far as I'm aware they don't have any influence over freight for goods sold.

Still, they are getting cards in 2 or 3 times a weeks so I may buckle next week and go the 3090 route and no MSI cards seem to be turning up here.

Aye, its all quiet on the MSI front, got my email today, same as 23 Oct email queue no. 4. They did ship 50 Ventus's prior to that date though, to some very lucky punters.

i keep seeing the 3090s come up. I was so tempted before i snagged my 3080. If you remember its much better than the 3080, just not in games. If you do work that can use the card properly then it becomes easier to justify. I just wonder if they are going to drop once amd hits market

@Gibbo - how is this possible? Lower end position updates aren't translating to upper end queue updates - I should have moved up at least 6 places instead of 1. Can we not trust the queue emails anymore?

This has confused me too. How I've seen it so far is like this:

Say you have a queue 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 4 and 5 cancel, you'd still have a queue with 1, 2, 3 and the position for those people shouldn't change.

If you have 2 and 3 cancel, then you're left with 1, 4, 5 - this should be changed to 1, 2, 3 otherwise relatively it doesn't make sense.

I think however the system is doing it, it's not recalculating the correct positions after

i suspect fallaize is comparing the wrong emails. He says hes in pos 65 but ronan91 is in 65. they can't both share the same place so i would say his data point is wrong - With that said we have seen the odd person move in the wrong direction of a queue so you question re trusting queue emails is still a valid one and i can't work out how mindrust doesn't move at all with that position

Yeah there was supposed to be a delivery of a small amount of visions this week including an "ok" amount of eagles.

Guess they have no idea when things are coming in and in what Quantity.
