*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Making a note of your post, so I can remind you how foolish you are when the 3080ti launches in the next few months.

Apply some logic to the situation, Nvidia will want to stamp their authority all over AMD's RX6000 series. They need a card 10-20% faster than the disappointing 3090 to seal this deal.

A 3080ti, with 12 or 24GB of memory, on TSMC 7nm process, will fit the bill perfectly, and will be the best card of this generation IMO. The 3090 will be remembered as one of the worst value wannabe Titan/ti class cards ever, and will be lucky to hold onto the top spot for a few months after release.

Also, in my experience, it's time to withdraw from an internet argument when the best adjective you can muster is "rubbish".

Good day.
Lol that’s wishful thinking aka rubbish, no one has confirmed any of this. But the fact that the 20gb 3080 and 16gb 3070 have been cancelled which has been confirmed by literally everyone . Apply some logic here yourself with stock barely meeting demands world wide there won’t be production of those cards till probably end of q2 2021, until all pre orders are fulfilled that’s not gonna happen, seeing people in queue positions in the hundreds for each AIB clearly indicates we won’t see a 30 series refresh for a long time, nvidia can only make so many gpus

They say that the AMD RT will only match a 3070.
If true I won't be buying it.

NV MAY bring out other cards on 7nm and 21GB read ram a year or two down the road.
I don't see another new GPU from NV for about 4 years.

Did you not check the reviews before dropping £1500 on a GPU?

The 3090 is already faster than a 6900XT and has 8gb more VRAM so I doubt nvidia will release anything faster than that except maybe a Titan on 7nm with a 3K price tag.

I think a 3080ti which will sit between a 3080 and 3090 is a strong possibility and the specs from @includenull look just about right. This should be able to roll in at 1k as AMD has already set the price for it.

I did but the 3080 ship had already sailed, Im happy with the 3090 purchase to be honest just bored of waiting for it lol

Morning everyone, another day of refreshing the forums for updates awaits! :)
The last update on Strix 3090 OC was last tuesday so I'm hoping for another today. 8th in line hoping this week is the week I can rub my card in the "haha they don't exist" crowds face

I can only imagine the torture being so low in the queue, im 195 but being 8th having it so close would be driving me crazy. Although if im honest my patience is wearing thin, I just kanny stand it!!!

From Gibbo

"A large MSI delivery is due later this week:
3070 Gaming Trio X - LARGE AMOUNT
3070 Ventus 2X - OK Amount
3080 Gaming Trio X - VERY LARGE AMOUNT
3090 Ventus 3X - OK amount.

MSI volumes seem to be improving. Asus and Gigabyte are still flagging.

Also a sad update on Inno3D the 3080 X3/X4 we were expecting was a communication error, they are actually 3070's and we can only pass on our apologies for this communication error, I have pushed Inno3D to try and secure us some 3080 X3/X4 urgently, they are trying but 3080 GPU's seem like gold dust still in general."

No ASUS 3090s again...what a joke asus has become.

If theres not one Asus 3090oc this week then that really is a big let down. I was expecting numbers to get better, thats what ive been hearing, or reading on here. Im posistion 195 and was still hopeful of a early dec delivery. If thats not possible I honestly think I will cancel

I feel your pain Captain, I hope you get yours soon, btw im sure I just see those cards expected in this week on the 6th on another website so might bring gd fortune to you here

Numbers DID get better, unfortunately the rate at which those numbers are actually coming in did not

Although I ended up ordering my card elsewhere (I got to the checkout quicker there than here) I've been following progress in both places in an attempt to "triangulate" on when I might get my Strix 3090 OC delivered. My observation to date is that there is a good correlation (for Asus at least) between deliveries to OCUK and the other place, both in terms of dates and numbers (as observed by people sharing queue positions etc.). I've recently had an update on my queue position and I've also been given an ETA for when I should get my card delivered, which I'll share here in case it's helpful for others waiting on the Strix 3090 OC - which is that I'm #17 in the queue with an ETA of 20/Nov (I assume 2020!). HTH.
