Agreed. I'd be wary about buying any TV preemptively based on spec until the PS5 has been out for a while and it's been fully tested to confirm it supports all the features.

As you say, i think they will struggle with 4k 60fps in some cases. I mean look at watch dogs. An ostensibly last gen game that doesn't look THAT good, and it can only run at 4k 30fps.

I still expect a 'pro' type version of both consoles in a few years.

Watch Dogs was not built for this gen just upgraded a bit. The series x can run witcher 3 4k60, although when witcher 3 gets a new gen upgrade it will probably tank back to 30fps.

It's exactly that. The launch on Xbox is like buying a new graphics card. All of the games I was playing have received a nice little bump in performance. My PS4 however won't be replaced by a PS5, unless there is something way down the line that makes it worthwhile. Launch titles on both sides are dire IMO. I just went with the few exclusives that I like that are eventually coming.
 
Has anyone had any decent progress on the camera adaptor request?

Mine was received, and I'm waiting for it to be granted. heard nothing since the 28th October.....

And will almost certainly by why the PS5 will outsell, certainly to begin with.
Microsoft are not giving you any massive incentive to upgrade at the moment - either play all the games on PC or keep you old console until maybe prices drop or bundles start appearing.
All they needed to do was get Halo ready to go Day 1.

With the more powerful console, which will sway many if they aren't overly invested into one ecosystem - the start of this generation was MS' to lose. Which they may just do by not having any platform exclusives.
 
I was hoping to use my QC35's with the PS5, but it seems I won't be able to do that wirelessly......... Seems pretty backwards in this day and age!

Anyone ordered accessories / games for their ps5? Are they coming on the 12th? Argos have said my pulse headset, controller and games will be delivered on the 12 :S

Suppose its good in a way.

Aye, all my games and accessories are showing as Thursday delivery.
Will be nice to have those and know all I'm waiting on is the console come the 19th.
 
I’m one of the in store game pre orders and have already paid in full ready for collection from the store on 19th.

I’m so excited it’s making me feel sick and giving me anxiety.

I'm hoping they'll still be doing a midnight launch up here if we don't go into a lockdown or my region gets bumped up a tier, which is looking likely :eek:

I've been reading the Xbox Series X/S thread and it's making me even more impatient seeing everyone getting their X/S's!
