I assumed Sony's mention of online orders only was a world wide thing. Not 100% sure on that though.Any ideas if)when stock may appear online?
Or as I'm in Scotland will there be stock available on the release day in stores?
I have the KS9000 (the following 2017 model). I believe HDR was enabled on the JS series via a firmware update, so that should be ok, and it's also a true 10bit screen (which is a good step up from 95% of the screens out there that are still 8+2frc).Weird that HDR isnt mentioned on samsungs website but most review places say that it does have it...

Right, the controller has convinced me to switch from a Series X to PS5. Seems like it could be engaging.I can keep my One X for now but on the hunt for new stock next week!
Can anyone tell me if my TV will get the most out of the PS5? If i remember rightly it was 3rd down from the flagship model in 2015 but im well out of the loop with tv tech now so i'm not sure.

You’re joking surely. It’s not released until next Thursday? Are you in America lol?Just had an email from Shopto saying my PS5 has shipped with a tracking number and due to be picked up by DPD tonight. So don't know when it will arrive??
My shopto ps5 has just been processed and is now bundled with my headset which is due to arrive on the 12th I wonder if I get the console on the 12th too haha
Valhalla been despatched from BoomerangGlad I’ll have a shiny new game for release day!
Demon Souls and Sackboy shipped from eBay, got them cheaper using a 20% off code so can’t complain.
Exactly, that’s what prompted my move. I very rarely keep games too and generally only play 3-4 releases a year so rental for a year and not having to faff with selling or trading suits me. I might even game more as a result and try games I normally wouldn’t.In a world where new games cost £70 I'm feeling pretty tempted by the idea of going back to game rentals! Especially when for the price of a single game you can buy 6+ months access to the service. I wonder if we'll see a resurgence in the rental/subscription market?
