Right, the controller has convinced me to switch from a Series X to PS5. Seems like it could be engaging.I can keep my One X for now but on the hunt for new stock next week!

If the controller is as good as it sounds I wouldn't be surprised if MS released a new one in a couple of years, as funny as it sounds the DS5 could be the difference this generation. MS seem to have just gone for raw performance without putting much effort into anything else.

Pretty sure DPD are being told to hold off with the deliveries until the release date. Same thing happened with argos saying it had been dispatched with a tracking number. But also says it will not arrive until official release.

(tracking number does not even work)

I think I've made my mind up to get this over the xbox. I've had every playstation but didn't hold onto the PS4 for long, preferred the xbox and controller. However, I can't overlook the exclusives this time around.

My shopto ps5 has just been processed and is now bundled with my headset which is due to arrive on the 12th I wonder if I get the console on the 12th too haha

Mine too but on the invoice and delivery tracking Email it says "PlayStation 5 = 0 Pulse headset = 1".
Why did they combine the orders if they didn't intend to send them together?

Just loked now. I only ordered Sackboy A Big Adventure game with the console, and they are sending it by DPD instead of Royal Mail? That is crazy, got excited there as the order on my account shows both PS5 and game shipped lol

Just got an email from Amazon with some sort of pre-order DLC code for Spiderman Miles Morales ultimate. Didn't even realise they were doing that.

Valhalla been despatched from Boomerang :) Glad I’ll have a shiny new game for release day!

In a world where new games cost £70 I'm feeling pretty tempted by the idea of going back to game rentals! Especially when for the price of a single game you can buy 6+ months access to the service. I wonder if we'll see a resurgence in the rental/subscription market?

Exactly, that’s what prompted my move. I very rarely keep games too and generally only play 3-4 releases a year so rental for a year and not having to faff with selling or trading suits me. I might even game more as a result and try games I normally wouldn’t.
