Cheers for the heads up, got a Dualsense charging station on click and collect at my local store. Will pick it up Friday morning
That's PS5 and Pulse 3D headset from Currys and Charging station from Smyths, job done!!

same here got email update from dph say been sent from centrsoft to them in local depot out for delivery for 12th, thought wouldnt get it till 19th as am in uk

My games and DualSense from Shopto are stuck at processing lol, they emailed me the other day saying they've arrived and were packing them up to be collected at the next collection, no movements since then. No text either for pre-order bonus codes for Spiderman. It's all paid up too. Any ideas what's going on there?
EDIT: just got an email from Shopto saying my games and DualSesne are on the way. Guessing there's a delay in emails cause to send it at 02:50AM.... Yeah lol.

Short thoughts so far:
DualSense controller is a big improvement, they've increased the resistance on the sticks which has always been a sore point for me. The haptic triggers are very cool, only played AstroRoom for an hour or two but they really do add to the immersion.
The console itself is rather ugly in the flesh but runs quiet and seems cooler than my XSX but might be down to playing a lighter game (compared with AC:Valhalla).
The UI is lovely (and in 4K) and much snappier than on PS4 Pro.
Feels more like a next gen update than XSX although that's largely due to the controller and the UI.

Yeah, same. I'm really looking forward to it. I've been PlayStation-less for over a month since selling the Pro.
So frustrating neither has a must play next gen game.

Ugh I'm getting giddy and nervous. Haven't had my PS since last Christmas and sold my Xbox X months ago. Did upgrade my pc a touch to catch up on a few RTS.
Just hoping my Amazon order comes on Thursday.

Jeez, you have went cold turkey a while longer then! I'm sure it will. My Xbox arrived fine and I also have my PS5 from them.

Digital only for me, once GT7 comes out
It's basically silent, my PS4 Pro was offensively loud so it's a huge improvement!
Download speeds seem to be much much faster as well, I'm on 1Gb fibre and getting speeds 4-5 times faster than before.
not ordering one cause i havent got any pennies maybe a bit worse lol
At least we won't have to wait 5+ years to play a proper Gran Turismo, 5 and 6 are PS3 games ffs.
