Is the Zotac Trinity 3090 ok?

Hmmm, wonder if zotac will fix the power limit...
bingo, also single bios so if you brick it with a flash from another card, you will need another working card in the pc to unbrick it.

So depends on what you will want, if you want to overclock or just use it out of the box. Also remember it has 2 x 8pin power. Warranty is 5 years so has that going for it.

Has anyone got it? How does it perform? It's only one in stock.

I have a Zotac, runs very hot, well the backplate does anyway. The fan curve is set to be quiet and so hits about 60% speed when running most games, which is near silent in my case. Boosts to around 1920-1950ish stock. Overclocked it boosts to about 2100. Very stable , no crashes on anything yet and I've been playing a lot of games @ 8k and running some extreme graphic mods.

Looking at other brands 3090 stock benchmarks in games like HZD and Tomb Raider and the Zotac gets the same FPS +- 1-2 fps.

If you plan to use it at stock settings then it's perfectly fine, just like every other 3090. If you want to overclock it to hell to then probably go elsewhere or bios flash it with a Gigabyte/Palit.

Stock results from mine.

Was just gonna chuck a waterblock on it and call it a day lol, how is it running at 2.1ghz with 350w bios

Now they're saying they void warranty if you remove the original cooler, just got told by someone at overclockers, he sounded half asleep and dead, nvidia said it's fine as long as you don't damage the original card, bunch of plonkers.

Look at the average though.

I said it boosted to 2100, I didn't say it averaged at 2100.

I bought the card weeks ago when none were available. I spent 4 days hunting a 3090 at RRP and it popped up in stock, briefly, so I took the plunge. Apart from heat I have no regrets, but I don't OC my system because it's also a DAW workstation and I need it 100% stable.

Mmmmmm, they void warranty if you put waterblock on?

no. Already contacted them about removing the HSF and they said it was fine, they actually mentioned it'd be better if I tried it rather than wait for more stock on an RMA (I mailed them regarding the heat)

Then why did this fool on the phone scream down at me on the phone that it'll be voided, also Zotac cooler looks like easiest to remove.
