I don’t know if this is allowed here but I know many of you managed to secure more than one ps5. I am trying to buy one for an autistic friend who’s pre-order was cancelled and didn’t manage to secure one on release day. I’ve posted in the wanted section.

I can imagine there’s a few twisted people who think this is made up but I can assure you it isn’t and that this would mean more to him than you can imagine. I’ll be buying the ps5 and can provide a photo of him with it if it makes the sceptics feel better.

Cheers.
I heard there's loads of them on eBay. :D

It is seriously impressive. The remaster also is blowing my mind at how good it looks. I am playing with RT on in fidelity mode and my god I never thought it would look this good. Youtube doesn't do it justice.
Yeah it looks fantastic, I actually prefer the 30fps mode, 60fps doesn't feel right in this game, feels a bit weird! :o:(

It's got a much more 'cinematic' feel in 30fps with the excellent motion blur.

Borderlands 3 runs silky smooth at 60fps 4k, performance mode is 120fps, was wondering why I couldn't see any difference apart from resolution! I don't have a 120hz screen.

Ah nice one. Good luck! :)

Luck is needed yes :)

Can someone tell me the quickest way to access trophies for a game you are playing? I know there is the shortcut when you earn one by pressing ps when it pops up but outside of that is there a quicker way than:

Long press PS - down - right - right?

Just had to deal with this when getting the platinum on Astro.

That is the quickest way to get to the full trophy list. A bit annoying when you're having to go to the list about 10 times in the space of 10 mins, but not too bad.

100% Miles Morales. That and Spider-Man are the only games I’ve ever made sure to 100% them. It’s a fantastic looking game, blown away at how good it looks in places.

Very short but I felt the original was a bit too long

Yes I hope it can be added to the quick menu in future for the specific game you are playing.

That's not what I said though :p

Nothing wrong with the headset, it works fine, I just don't have the ability to regulate the balance between the chat volume and game volume which I did have on the PS4.
I think that's a feature that has to be licensed from Sony, the Pulse 3D is the only headset with that option AFAIK. you can always adjust it via the menus in software, not as easy though.

Yeah, defo the best looking next gen game so far.

What are folks thoughts on the new UI?
I think it's beautiful and it really pops at 4K. I screenshotted a few last night and was going to post them here. The two Spiderman 'desktops' are really nice. General navigation takes a bit of getting used to but now I know where everything is it's pretty much perfect. Simple and looks great. Single press PS button shortcuts work really well.

2021 is going to be a belter of a year for PS5 games

Horizon: Forbidden West
God of War
Ratchet and Clank: Rifts Apart
Cyberpunk 2077
RE: 8

To name a few :D

Currently playing Spiderman: Miles Morales, superb so far

I bought NBA 2k21 for a bit of a break from third person adventure games.

Really enjoying career mode. I think it's getting review bombed for the micro transactions but I've never even been tempted to spend real money in it.

God of War has me the most excited out of that list. Scary to think how good it might look being one of their biggest budget 1st party games

Aside from AC:V, I've actually decided upon the The Last Guardian for my first PS4 replay. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but the experience seems much improved at 4k 60fps :)

In truth; the upgrade to a 4k TV is continually blowing me away. I'm re-watching Blue Planet II via iplayer UHD; wow!
