AMD RYZEN 5000 SERIES 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X NOW ONLINE AT OcUK!!

Sorry if this is a stupid question, new forum member here... how do we check our queue number? I put in the pre order for my 5900x about 2 weeks ago, I can see the order on my account history. Didn't get an email confirmation and haven't had any email updates re queue number (I've checked my spam folders). Any ideas?
Has it gone in to junk?

5900x

20th 844.

I originally got an order in at another supplier but canceled it when they straight faced lied to me. Thinking about ordering a 5600x instead. Still can't make my mind up about a 6800xt or 3080.
I think you should take advantage of sam, check the benchmarks. I think going with 6800xt will save you some money and give you the same performance.

5900X
Afer order position 38/42 and now 22. Last time i talked with customer support they told me only 20 cpus arrived and they told me that new cpus should be in mid December. I san see here some lads jump more than 20 places up in queue so that mean a lot of cancellations. Have pc ready for 2 months and w8ing only for cpu. There are some shops around EU (Poland, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia) with large stock of all 5000 series CPUs but not willing to post or to sell if buyer from another country. But I know myself, if Ill find someone to buy one for me, that day Ill get notification from OcUK that my CPU is packed and ready for dispatch. :D

The last official update from @Gibbo on this was that there should be a delivery of 300pc on 24/11 — so either this was complete rubbish or they’re not updating us with this ‘new’ info for fear of mass cancellations.

They don’t want to let go of all that sweet sweet preorder cash sat in the bank.

I really hope not, but the lack of specifics in terms of upcoming shipments is worrying

Isn't it just.

Even the smaller competitors have had the foresight to develop detailed, structured daily update pages that ease concerns. OcUK? Arbitrary updates that seem to contradict each other
Very unprofessional, even if it's no update. The Xerox that shall not be named has a clear table. Hardly revolutionary, but effective.

Will wait until 25. and than cancel if no updates. Found in Croatia for 660€ 5900x friend can collect and post to me with no problems. They told me no need for reservation because of very large stock they got last week.

I can see stock all over europe but not uk...how is this possible?

purchasing power in the UK is much higher and the cost of the processor is very high if you are living in working in some of the eastern European countries. Croatia's population is 4 million (Enough to send England home, little joke  ) , which is much less than UK + Ireland, and that may be the reason why they have processors in stock. I hope we got some good news this week, fingers crossed

That’s true, and I checked after launching day and the stock was gone everywhere. But now more and more countries have them in stock. While UK with all the queues nothing is happening, besides people cancelling. Fingers crossed, makes me sad to look at the boxes getting dusty

I'm going to "try" and buy a 6800xt on wednesday, but we all know that's a crap shoot... I missed the 3080 bus... plenty of Zotac 3090s in stock though. My brother ordered one two days ago and got his yesturday... So get this... he's waiting on his 5950x and for the time being running a 3090 on a LGA1150 4690k! lol.

Well I am only waiting on the CPU to finish my build....tempted to order a 3900XT so I can do my build this week.... then I might still wat on the 5800x and sell the 3800x that is currently in my gaming machine when it finally arrives.....the 3900xt would then move into my stream/content machine...hmmm decisions!!!

Good luck on Wednesday, you have more patience than I!
At least he is running something! I have everything boxed up, only waiting for cpu :(

The average wage in some of these countries is a lot lower than the uk and these are expensive CPUs.

You say that but you can only find 5600x and 5800x while all the others are out of stock and all the gpus, nvidia and radeon. There plenty of people in all countries who can afford them
The lower end SKUs are more generally aimed at people on a budget though which would be more likely to be put off by the high prices.

I've found a small UK company with only 16 orders for the 5800x. Their website says that the next delivery date ETA is unknown (which is also the same as OCuK since we don't know anything about the shipments). I think I'm going to wait a few days and then see if OCuK impoves updates and whatnot but if it doesn't improve, I'll cancel my order and go with the other company.
