Hi

Using a Ryzen 5 3600 with stock cooler. I know the cooler is fine in terms of performance but is it loud?

And if so what's a cheap one to go with as alternative?

Thanks for the replies..

I know the 212 is the king for replacement stock cooler so I was looking at 212 Black Edition for £30 or RGB Black Edition for £37.

Although the RGB fan would be a nice additon I read its louder than normal Black Edition.

If you are spending £37 on a cooler you may as well get a different cooler ( I think ).

A good pick could be this: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/arctic-freezer-34-esports-duo-red-cpu-cooler-2-x-120mm-hs-075-ar.html

The A500 if you have space :D https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...n-fan-cpu-cooler-ct-9010003-ww-hs-03w-cs.html

Not a great cooler at £90 but at £35 it's usable. Awful compared to other £90 coolers but okay vs ones in its new price range :D

Nice.

Well I told him hes only replacing it as stock is noisy. He wont be overclocking at the moment as its his first gaming PC.

His theme ia black/grey with RGB so fire away all options..

After a bit of searching ive narrowed it down to

CM Hyper 212 Black Edition Silencio - £30
Artic Freezer 34 eSports Single - £30
Jonsbo CR1000 GT ARGB - £25

From what ive watched the 212 BE Silencio wins.. main quality here is noise as he wont be overclocking at the moment.

I do like the Jonsbo having ARGB but does anyone know how it compares in terms of noise and performance??
