*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

My main thought is they want people that got it at MSRP to cancel . I could be wrong but I find it likely . Even if we cancel now they'll still be able to shift them in a couple months time and make a bigger profit

You are probably right. They know they'll be able to recoup the loss of the MSRP sales if canceled.

I managed to get a card from Overclockers back in the first week of November as I was 1st in the queue from the very beginning for the Gigabyte Eagle 3070. Unfortunately one of the fans was rattling and wasn't seated correctly so I sent it back on the same day I received it. I was told i'd come first priority as soon as they receive the cards considering I was the very first person to receive the card of it's kind. Ever since then I received the weekly email on a Friday that shows the queue position showing I was in queue position #248 and I contacted staff by phoning them asking why this was as previously i'd been told I was first priority, the man told me to just ignore the email as It was still saying I was on the pre-order list but I've had no confirmation otherwise stating i'm first priority. This was a few weeks ago and i've tried phoning multiple times during work but with no avail only being left on the sound of ringing for 30 minutes but I can understand considering how overwhelmed they'll be. I don't think they're handling it that well keeping everyone notified and i'm starting to think that i'm never going to receive mine first and that i'm going to have to wait again even though I literally had the card in hand but because of a manufacturer defect I've been let down. There was even a shipment of a very small amount of 3070 Eagles that came in supposedly this week but still haven't seen mine turn up at my door :p What a let down.
Post in the customer services section with your order number and RMA number, it sounds like something has gone wrong.

Did the few EVGA (the first for here) arrive was it last week or week before, not sure why they took so long to get any, competitor has had them in nearly weekly since launch.

Hi all,

Registered here to help those who either did not receive or are still waiting for their Watchdogs: Legion code.

TL;DR: reach out to Nvidia Support to get your missing promotional codes.

I received my Asus RTX 3080 TUF last week (started in queue position 9 after ordering an hour after go live on the 17th Sept), and like many did not receive a code for Watchdogs: Legion or GeForce Now.

I contacted Overclockers support who initially simply said they had no more codes. I did explain my consumer rights to them, especially as the offer still appeared in my invoice and after some back and forth they told me to contact Nvidia and also that all they could do instead is offer a return and full refund (this is technically a valid response from them amongst the various rights, although very much an anti-consumer one as there are numerous alternatives). By this point we were already past the 30th November deadline.

I duly contacted Nvidia providing my Overclockers conversation and proof of purchase and as of this morning they provided me with my Watchdogs and GeForce Now codes, which I have redeemed this afternoon even though technically the promotional period has now expired.

I really wish Overclockers had been more proactive on this front, they should be getting us these codes, or at least pre-emptively communicating with customers about how to redeem. Ironically I don't even care for the game, I simply care about consumer rights...

Good luck to all!

Well done in getting the code, I'm now 12th in the queue for TUF Non-OC (means I should have got one with their "OK amount" that didn't appear) and I'll try the same.

The no competitors rule has been and always will be part of the forum, strangely enough you agreed to them when you signed up, so if you don't want posts deleted or your account suspended then I suggest you stick to them ;)

If you've got a problem contact the shop, anymore trolling and constant belittling won't be tolerated either.

And nobody is trapped, either wait for the item or don't and get a refund, not hard to choose is it ;)

anyone seen the amp extreme in action yet?

had a real close look compared to the holo and there is a lot of differences, 3x8 pin connections, different shroud different RGB LED looks way better than the holo

not one single video of the amp extreme online which means no one has this card, and thats the one i preordered

How did you contact them? I tried Live chat and they said I have to take it up with OC. So no luck at least with who I spoke with.

@Gibbo I hope you realise that by this person saying you're a nice lad and you'll just send one to me... if you don't, you're not only letting @Bluenosebolt down, but me too. You're also advertising the fact that you're not actually a nice lad.

In case it isn't obvious, this is all in jest. I'm disappointed I don't have a new card yet, but I am also not the kind of person to start badmouthing OcUK for this.
:D hope you had a good one regardless

How did you contact Nvidia, because I am in a similar position to you, was it by Email or by chat ?

Anyone able to post the link to the customer services forum? I have exactly the same query as the other person who posted about being put back into receiving queue emails whilst waiting for a replacement (although mine is for Trinity OC), but when I click in the CS section of forums there’s nothing there?
