MSI RTX 3090 GPUs stolen

Somebody's possibly had a pallet of them away, this is a: not surprising given its a pallet in a supply chain of millions of the things carrying everything you can imagine and not, & b: not exactly crime of the century - the RRP of these things arguably is but that's another thread - frankly, I would not be surprised if,in actual fact, said pallet turns up on the wrong trailer in the wrong depot in a couple of days or so and they weren't "stolen" after all - logistics is like that, I know. :p

Someone probably got tired of waiting for their pre-order and went to 'collect' it personally.
 
They say its 2.2mln yuan based on a fact that someone said its “40 containers"
2.29mln yuan is aroud 300$ that is still just around 200 cards... So idk.. How are these informations spreading while being so inaccurate. 200 cards in 40 containers? What.. 5 cards per container?
 
This is happening, we have had lots of 3000 series stolen and also some 5000 Ryzen too, it does not happen at OcUK HQ, but it is happening while goods are in transit and are either being stolen by couriers or targeted thefts, thankfully we are covered by insurance as are the board partners, but considering how crazy busy resellers and couriers are at the moment, it is just another issue adding more work.
