Where are the people who said amd would only match or just beat the 3070.
The same can be said about the 3090 over the 3080 but people are still snapping that up as if it's cheap candy.
The 3090 is 50% more expensive bit has much better 4k and RT performance.
That's because the 3090 is ironically more available and people are getting patient and in some cases desperate enough to override common sense. Things become a lot easier to justify in your head that way.

AMD's VR drivers are broken. Not working with HP headsets.
They are around, they just pivoted to constantly talk about RT and DLSS

I wondeer how reviews choose what games to test? I noticed J2C used mostly older titles when reviewing the RX6900XT whereas Coreteks used mostly newer titles. The choice of games does materially effect the results and conclusions it seems.
so basically
Vr: the broken on amd
Dlss: non existent on amd
Ray tracing: bad performance on amd
Rendering: bad performance on amd
Ray Traced rendering: broken on amd and bad performance
These things all add up
It would be interesting to see how the framerate percentage difference between red and green changes as the age of the game changes.

To be fair, neither can Nvidia on that front. They also had/have all sorts of problems on their website with this launch.

This is what the 3080 competitor should have been imho, its not a bad card and hats off to AMD for pulling out this kind of performance it just doesn't make sense as a product. Not to me at least....
