Looks like the OP is in luck, just need some stock now.
Any news about RTX 3000 series Founders Edition cards? Will they still be produced in 2021?
How long does Nvidia usually produce FE graphics cards for, after a launch?
We need them to increase supply to match the current demand, the only thing this is going to do is play right into scalpers hands.
Got a link to that please? They said we can expect MSRP priced cards end of Feb/early March.
Yup, Scott is good people. His word, does it mean anything.. he is an AMD employee after all
The only thing I can find is a private statement allegedly made to HUB, at the end of Nov. This allegedly said that AMD would ensure AIBs were selling cards at RRP within 4-8 weeks. The real question isn't "will AMD still make cards?" The question is; "when will consumers be able to get them?"
And thats a whole different kettle of fish, if @Gibbo is getting no answers from distributors ect about likely avaoilabilty then at least in the short term theres no much point in AMD saying they will make cards

That's Jan at the earliest and Feb at the latest.
Seems wildly optimistic to me. Not just that they'll have them in stock but at RRP too...

It was one of the Hardware Unboxed videos; they mention an official promise (something like that) from AMD for MSRP cards in 4-8 weeks. I think it’s the below video (first part about MSRP).
No idea who’s going to make them though since the board partners are saying that AMD have set slim margins.

Pretty sure in the same video they mention that AMD are enabling the AIBs to have better margins. Probably means AMD will take a loss in the short time but will stabilize the market and improve their image which in the long run is much better
The longer they’re out of the market and overpriced, the lower their market share, so I hope they’re doing everything to make this work. If you can’t get them closer to MSRP, Nvidia easily becomes the better option.

But where are the Nvidia cards for MSRP? I haven't seen any in stock to date.
To prove your point, my friend wanted a 6800xt because of the huge preorder queue for the 3080s, he couldn't get one so now he is going to get a 3080 in the new year as supply is more steady.
I am also considering a 3070 and I really don't want to support Nvidias scummy business practices.
We’ll probably also see Nvidia stabilise sooner as they have a head start and it’s more of a priority for them. For AMD, individual user GPUs and CPUs have the lowest priority.
