*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I don't think there's been any low queue cancellations on the Trinity non-oc this week. Still at position 7!

nVidia suck for not sending out more 3080 chips for manufacturers to do things with.

They do, and ASUS suck for using the vast majority of the GPU's they did get on TUF OC models... Share the love. Totally get the higher profit margin on them but to send about 8X as many is a pith take... Is it the same level of bias to OC model on other cards does anybody know? 3 or 4 times as many would be fine but 8? It's a joke.
They shouldn't offer a non OC model if they have next to no intention of making them. Or delay the non OC model to a later date perhaps...

Considering a lot of the non-OC cards can be overclocked perfectly well, it almost feels like false advertising...

Indeed, I've never bothered with OC models for that reason and these cards have next to no headroom for overclocking anyway. Having said that if I knew they were going to send around 8X as many in the first 3 months, I would've payed the extra £50 or so just to get my card in a reasonable amount of time.

this wait is insane for these cards but its the best way to secure one,

Not sure about that. I was 670 in the queue for an Eagle OC this time last week and decided to cancel. Found a card yesterday and it arrived today. I wasn't keen on cancelling my order here, I knew finding a card was going to be a bit of a lottery, and I knew it was going to cost me more (quite a bit more to be honest) but I've got a 3080 now and can relax and get on with it. If you're well down in the queues here you're going to be waiting well into next Spring to get a card, at the current rate of things anyway.

If I couldn't have found a 3080 I would have still definitely considered a 3070 or 3060ti. Great for gaming in 1440p and really capable cards for less money. Still sought after everywhere but more of them are coming in at least.

Is there any update on the Gigabyte cards as haven't seen Giga-man for a month, no new of deliveries and haven't seen their cards popping up as much elsewhere while MSI and Asus continue to see deliveries (if at scalper prices)? Still 272 in the queue for the Eagle and seems to be getting slower and slower :/

I have been waiting so long to say this.

Ventus 3080 4th place last week, ordered at 15:14:00 on the 17th.

My watch has ended!

Thanks to @ScottiB for helping us with an issue which blocked my shipping but it's finally on its way!

Good luck to everyone else waiting. I hope you all keep going and I hope @ScottiB and @Gibbo keep up the great transparency they have shared this past week.
