These EVGA cards seem to do well!
technically its an MSI card.
gaming x trio with 3x8pin powers (370Watt)
but with a 500watt evga beta bios.
Apparently 480watt strix bios again very very good.
glue on a shunt mode. simple prob safer then a bios flash!
and you keep warranty with glue...
Frame Chasers guy goes on about it

Half a kW stuffed through a gpu, thats insane! Wish i could flash my 3080 bios, oh and have another 8 pin
nice score mate. The trio X seems to be one of the best buys with lots of options to flash bios and the EVGA bios working on it

Via updating BIOS and Chipset and disabling G-sync and Shadowplay I was able to get a 2.3k rise from where I started. These scores still seem a little low even for stock though but I've exhausted the list of things to try. Next step would be to try some OCing but not sure I can be bothered putting myself through the arditous process of finding a nice balance between stability and a decent OC.
