*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Yep as did the 3050 and 3070ti but looks like they are not a thing. I will wait and see myself.

Yeah it was originally rumoured for December, then January. Even if that's the plan it's not unheard of for things to change on the 11th hour. Personally it's out of my price range so I don't care beyond it taking up precious GPU's... If it was in my price range and price to performance wasn't my concern, I'd probably hold out on the 3080 for a while to see what happens.

I've just been watching the WAN show from last night, PR clearly isn't Nvidia's forte... It looks like because hardware unboxed didn't initially focus on ray tracing in his review, Nvidia have said he'll no longer be getting review samples despite them later doing a dedicated video on ray tracing + DLSS capabilities... Which has enraged the whole reviewing community...
Nvidia even quote hardware unboxed on their official website, promoting DLSS...
yeah saw that, Nvidia are really stepping up to the plate as a**** their PR people and the leather jacketed idiot deserve a good boot in the Jacksy!! - for all the crap that has been the 30 series launch, I've no doubt they are responsible for all the shortages, and now using the control/power they have to try and influence an unbiased tech tuber to only talk about the stuff they want, power to hardware unboxed! @Nvidia what have you become!:(

Didn't get my Strix OC queue update email. I mean come on OC UK.

This is not blocked, it's not filtered, it's not gone into spam. I got the past 9 queue updates absolutely fine.

You just didn't send it.

I jumped 46 places to position 800. If this helps.

Cheers, ultimately it makes no difference, if I don't cancel it's probably another 3 months minimum.

Just the point of principle that after months of almost no information I didn't even get the very limited information we've been getting!

And then comments about how you need to check spam and make sure it's not being blocked, after multiple people report the same issue, and have been getting updates for months.

Own up OC, your bad system can't even send emails out correctly!

Anyone have any updates on palit 3070 Gaming pro OC stock, been is pos 4 for 3 weeks now, hoping I get it this side of Xmas if not brexit,
Many thanks

We don't even know if there is going to be a 3080ti. There are rumours from a variety of sources saying it is no longer going to happen.
Sure if they do exist but my statement still stands that ya it could work to jump ship to get that but I feel like it would be pointless to cancel an order on a 3080 just to wait nearly a week possibly for the money and then end up in a higher queue number

I couldn't agree more, I've got a bit of beef with ASUS for the bias the OC TUF has received over the non OC with about 8X as many being delivered (estimated from "large" "ok" deliveries etc). I can't speak for other 3rd parties if they have they same level of bias to OC models but beyond that, I agree this is pretty much all on Nvidia. An utter shlt show.
Of course there are shortages across the board at the moment, but this 3000 launch shouldn't have taken place until early next year, they were too keen to get out ahead of AMD by the looks of it.

I will order the 3080ti before I jump ship make sure I in a favourable position. I am fortunate I can afford to do this unlike most on here.

ordered launch day 9.20 pm. bought this as it one of the shorter card just fit in my old haf 932 but i now just ordered a Fractal Design Meshify S2 so could have bought any if i knew i was going to do that :)

Looking at large que numbers for the non OC TUF and how far they've dropped with very few delivered, I'd be interested to know the total number of cancelations across all cards, it must be a couple of thousand.

if it has been mentioned earlier forgive me I don't care to check but 10 inno x3 cards appear to have arrived and shipped out within the last week.

I have moved from queue number 15 to 5.

yeah I'm waiting on a tuf OC 3080 that q is not quite as bad as the tuf non OC, but been here nearly three months and gone slowly from >900 to im hoping ~360 ish this week or next depends on when these tufs Gibbo mentioned turn up, but still away off yet, i seriously think they should have produced a lot higher proportion of non OC tufs, don't know where they get their numbers from??. Hope we all get sorted soon as, but with all the crap from Nvidia, I sort of wish there was another alternative with the same capabilities as I would have taken that path, christ we need it, i know AMD is very close but we need a third party in on the act, maybe one day Intel (or someone please!) can produce something really decent and knock Nvidia off their high horse! they need taking down a peg or two but don't suppose that will happen very soon, cheers good luck!:D.

Forgive me for jumping in without reading the other 1532 pages in this thread first but is there a way to view the queue and assess what my best chance of getting a 3080 is?

‘I’m coming from 980SLI so I’m not too fussed about which make or OC’d speed etc

I’ve recently decided to upgrade and can’t believe how difficult it is.

OC basically means it comes factory overclocked, really up to you if you want to buy it or not, if your even lucky to find one that is

Can't remember whether it was ScottiB or Gibbo, but one of them recently posted with an overview of how many of each card they've shipped since launch - that might help inform your decision a little, however there seems no rhyme or reason behind the numbers. Sometimes you'll get 2 shipments a week of one card, then nothing for a month. Not much help but that is the situation as it stands. We all get an email each Friday with a queue update, but there is no list of how long the queue is for each individual card. I'd suggest calling customer services (be prepared for a wait!) and ask them how long the queues are, they'll be best placed to help you.
