Must be a bad batch then because I can't hit 60 degrees at any fan speed really.

What kind of case do you have?
Does it draw air in from the front or from the front or from the side near the front like some of the new cases with glass on the front?

BTW maximum safe operating temperate from Nvidia speciation's for pascal was 92c and for turing it was 88c I can't find info on Amepere .
I've been running my 1070 fe at 82c for years, I've no choice because of the FE blower cooler. I've had no issues.
Nvidia know that some people will be putting these cards in tiny ITX cased in warm counties and not using air-conditioning in the room.

Is that a Zotac dual fan card?

Yes, the non-oc edition.

Fractal R6, plenty of case fans with good cable management and airflow.

Surely at idle? Mine is 25 degrees at idle

Yes obviously at idle it sits at 25 like you say. In heaven I get 75 degrees at 70% fan speed. If I turn the fans down to 50% it goes up to 82 degrees.

Can someone please let me know where I can buy the Nvidia 3060ti Founder edition if it does become available (exclude eBay)? All web sites I have seen do not list this item. The only place I see this for sale is on the Nvidia web site with no stock. Is this the only place to buy it if it is available?

FE Cards are like hens teeth, you need to have a bot setup to be able to have even a small chance of getting one.

Yes, the non-oc edition.

Have the same card in a Bifinex Prodigy M.
Due to case layout card is at the top with the fans facing up but it does have a 120mm fan blowing outside air straight at it about 40mm away.
Air then extracted and exhausted at the lower rear.

As the card is at the top, this really magnifies the acoustics. I can imagine being in a sound damped case it would make it a lot quieter, my main WC build is in an R6.

Much better with an undervolt or using the thermal head room to dampen the noise.

At default my card seems to settle at 67C with the fan grill in place or 64C with the fan grill removed.
If I use the offset to undervolt, it will sit around 2Ghz at the same 200W.

Just need some time to optimise

What's the fan speed under load?

You can only get them from the Nvidia site, when they have them a link will take you to a UK retailer who will take and process your order.
Due to the price, these sell out in a minute or two when available.

Unfortunatly there is no warning so as per above post, you need a bot to let you know and you need to be sat at your pc ready to buy.

I have an R5 so can't be airflow related, must be a faulty card?

Played with my PNY 3060ti XLR8 (non-OC) with MSI Afterburner:
Power Limit: 100% -> 105%
Temp. Limit: 83c -> 90c
Core Clock: +250 (start artifact @ +280)
Memory Clock: +850 (start artifact @ +1000)
Fan Speed: 65%

Reading from GPU-Z:
GPU Clock: 1410MHz -> 1660 MHz
Boost: 1665 MHz -> 1915 MHz
Memory: 1750 MHz -> 1963 MHz

MSI Kombustor scores:
Kombustor 4.1.9.0
MSI-01 (TESS+PBR+DOF)
SCORE: 4016
FPS: 66
3D Renderer: GeForce RTX 3060 Ti/PCIe/SSE2
3D API: OpenGL 4.6.0 NVIDIA 460.79
Resolution:1920x1080 (I'm still using my trusty old 1080P/60hz monitor...)
Duration: 60000
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz
OS: Windows 10 build 18363
GPU: GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

UserBenchmark:
4,277 User benchmarks, average bench 132%
PNY(196E 1371) ≥ 4GB
- CLim: 2340 MHz
- MLim: 3925 MHz
- Ram: 8GB
- Driver: 460.79
Performing way above expectations (99th percentile)
144% (Outstanding)
3D DX9:
- Lighting 192
- Reflection 190
- Parallax 177
- 156% 186 fps
3D DX10:
- MRender 209
- Gravity 152
- Splatting 132
- 130% 164 fps

GPU always under 70c during stress test / benchmark. ~30c at idle

Pretty sure the card is limits by power limit...

After discussing the zotac buzzing issue on Reddit we have found out that the noise is actually the front shroud rattling on the heat pipes.For some people the fix was pulling the shroud towards you to stop the rattling and others out a pc of paper in between them.Either way this is a totally appalling design flaw from zotac.

I was going to consider returning the card but at the current state of stock I’m just going to live with it because apart from that the performence of the card is great.

When running heaven on everything max it
peak at 68c which absolutely fine.Furthermore noise wise as my tempered glass is quite thick it does absorb some of the fan noise and I also play with headphones so it blocks a lot of noise too.

That core overclock is insane! If that’s stable you’ve won the silicon lottery!

What do you score in Timespy with that clock speed? Be interested to see the link!

You know the Memory is still stable in the 1100-1200MHz range. I use the two I have for mining so it's a different purpose. However, I think it's stange that 'professional' YouTube overclockers don't bother with the Memory (+200MHz). Memory is still the bottleneck on these GA104 GPUs. The GA102s obviously don't experience it with GDDR6X.

My Palit Dual seams stable at +220 core which will boost to just over 2100 for a very short time then tends to hang out around 2000. +300 mem is where I've tested to so far but not had much time.
I need to mess with the voltage frequency curve a bit, it seams different to Pascal cards.

I’m talking about the +250 on afterburner. I get +160 max but that gives me over 13k graphics score in Timespy.

I said it was pretty average - 1915mhz that you quoted mine was 2115mhz!

Just done Heaven and it boosts to 2250mhz with avg of 2050mhz which tonks all over 1915mhz.
