*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I am a big fan of EVGA 1000 Series design, but thanks to the ugly looks of 3000 series, I switch to ASUS TUF OC, and now I'm just 162 in queue, so thx EVGA.

google it, cant be that hard to miss, you wont have long though

You ain't gonna catch anything googling it, just brings up most of the preorder links and by that time they're all bye bye... Got a stock notification email, 2 mins after it was received can't add it to the basket. Gotta have your phone in your hand.

There was 2 being sold in the rainforest for around £1300-£1500 but if anybody's prepared to pay that for a 3080 they're an idiot.
clearly resellers

i was referring to actual retailers on rrp prices

Zotac Trnity was £839 or somthing

and evga FTW 3x 8pin version was 899 and the other model, they were blown away in 15 minutes because an email alert was sent to me and others had it in my basket but then i dropped it

Yes this is the site, they had 4 different cards in. 2 zotacs and 2 EVGA. I was on the EVGA ones like 2 mins after the email and couldn't add it... Haha

Nah they don't, they build up a little stock for a few weeks and then put them up. Someone mentioned it before after picking something up.

They appear very briefly on a lot of the main online stores most days. I got mine last week by just sitting and constantly refreshing on a few different sites.
Randomly you'll see an 'add to basket' appear next to one and then you've got literally seconds to check out with it. You've got to not be picky about which card
you get and be prepared to pay a bit extra. And by that I mean all the cards I saw appearing last week were the higher end ones and were going for between £900
and £999. The Gigabyte Aorus Master I got was £930. My prediction is even the lower end cards are going to be going for that sort of money next year.

Considering the very short shelf life the 3080 10gb will have spending more than £649, which is already a good £100 over what a xx80 should be priced at, is really a questionable decision and a clear lack of common sense.... but hey...

Some UK Etailers have a email me when it's in stock. Never again will I try on launch minute day and face dead websites and frustration. If you act within 20 seconds and order your in (Got a email about 6.45 pm today. Acted immediately) . I was lucky. I had this 3 times in the last 6 weeks and acted as soon as the email hit my phone. I'm on the website within seconds and today I was quick enough it seems.

Common sense and 3080's don't fit well together.
