When trying to OC the Ram using xmp profiles I can run it at 3600 but 4000 is no good and clear the CMOS

Just wondering if I got the best ram now. Should I have got https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...3600mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-001-8p.html

As its better die and lower CAS

How much difference does this really make in gaming performance E.G FPS ?

Thanks in advance

Bios updated to the latest version?

FCLK stability over 1900 is hit and miss on most chips and boards at the moment it seems.

Lots of videos on this topic from the big reviewers on this. In the real world FPS gains are generally very small.

Thanks. Watched those and its not 100% clear is it

Very confusing. 3200 vs 3600 with CAS14 or CAS 18 ...

I split the difference and went with 2x 16GB 3600 C16. Samsung B-Die seems to be the secret sauce with Dual Rank. I'm on an ITX board so limited to 2 dimms though. 4x8GB 3600 C14 Samsung B-die is probably the top of the mountain if you can find it/afford it.
