I am not talking about benchmarks. 6800xt is a great reference card but the 6900xt reference looks a little worse since it is using the same cooling/TDP. Why wouldn't someone buy an AIB card with a better cooling solution/higher power limit if the price is right?
If its msrp ill buy it. Although I won't buy Asus and I wont buy MSI. They don't deserve any of my money.
maybe kingpin will make a 6900xt? Or is kingpin Nvidia exclusive

6800xt & 6900xt capped with max 345w and 2750mhz and 2950mhz. This should be accounted. When these limits no longer exist 6800xt performance will be higher than now. 3080 just can't compete with it.
6900xt is power limited card. 6800xt is power+mhz limited.
3080 & 3090 is almost unlimited.

Same as AIB 6800 XTs, but the AIBs have higher TDPs so they can hit the higher clock speeds.
Post your 6800 XT scores in the Firestrike threads, faster than 3090’s comfortably.

There are 6900xt with higher power limits, the ones with 3x8 pins.

I'm not sure their bios let them to give more power than AMD limitation. I'm might be wrong.
