*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I totally agree, I've not got any problems with OCUK, and sure we're all a bit miffed with Nvidia, but most of my anger is now directed at ASUS. First they produce 10X as many OC cards giving their first F you to those that pre ordered non OC cards, I get they make more money on OC cards but 10X as many is absurd. Then for the second F you, they distribute the tiny amount of non OC cards they do have across retailers that don't have pre orders as well. So they made say 40-50 people happy who managed to snag a non OC card today, whilst angering over 1000 people that have already payed and have been waiting months. Well done to whoever's brain child that was... *slow clap*

The GPU's they are provided from Nvidia are mostly all OC capable GPU's and they are obviously going to be using them in OC cards after binning them for the most profit. It's just bad luck that the GPU's they are provided are mostly high enough quality to be put into the OC inventory and not much is going into the non-OC inventory because of that.

As I've said in the past on here I get that, and I get they make more profit on OC cards. I don't begrudge them for making more OC cards it's the volume I find irritating, 10X as many? They may as well have not bothered releasing the non OC version at this rate, if they continue to bin well, do they continue producing OC cards 10X the rate of non OC?
That aside though, that doesn't answer why they're distributing non OC cards to retailers with no predorders when they're so illusive and over 1000 have payed and are waiting just at OCUK. That is the nail in the coffin for me, I won't be buying another ASUS product after this card.

Just got my Xmas queue position update..
From 635 to 616 :(
(MSI Ventus)
Oh well. Seems at this point it's mostly moving due to people cancelling...

At this rate I'll get it by mid 2022

Another week of queue position 4. No MSI deliveries seem to feature the Ventus OC 3x. It's getting frustrating to have such a good queue position but to wait regardless

Hi there

No other updates apart from that on anything, apart from big price increases coming next year according to board partners due to component price increases of upto 25%, does not impact those who have backordered as OcUK will honour the prices ordered at.

25% increase in GPU prices from January

But the UK has reached a deal with the EU?, brexit is over!

you're more likely to get one at a live drop, you'll be waiting for a long time before getting that asus one.

not sure, I just tried a live drop, and I was extremely fortunate it popped up as I sat down on PC, and was out of stock before the page loaded, queues are way better.

How often is someone going to be at a pc at a time a live drop is done?

Hi there

Just logged in too check if any updates and I can see the Asus 3080 TUF NONE OC where we had 19 expected but had only received 6pc last week, seems the majority of missing cards are now found/delivered as system is showing 17 out of 19 now booked in. So 11 more shall be shipping today.

@Gibbo when will the " Asus 3080 TUF NONE OC" be available for pre order queue again, thanks?

Quiet week working from home, picked one up from a Discord alert this morning, over RRP but won £5 on the lottery last night so was feeling flush!

Wow, so over 2000 people had payed and were waiting for this card before 800+ cancelations, whilst ASUS distribute them to shops with no preorders when there's literally a tenth of the supply of OC cards... Just wow.
