What TV shows are you currently watching

Queen's Gambit.

It's great, as good as people have said. After loving Ep 1 and 2, I worried that I didn't like Ep 3 so much, but it picked right back up after that.

I'm on the last episode

Binge watched both seasons of Sex Education.

Brilliant! Cringe worthy but proper laugh out moments mixed with quite heart felt serious moments. Loved it.

After watching Kingdom, Sweet Home and Alice in Borderland, I'm in a real Asian vibe lately. They really are putting out some extremely good, well produced, high quality stuff. I'm finding the latest batch of movies and tv from Asia to be far better than most of the western junk

Watched "I Am Not Okay with this." Very short episodes but different and enjoyable. Not sure, but I think covid may have chopped season 2.

Still chugging along with The Wire. Bit sad as we're getting through it really quickly and I know we'll have it finished soon but it's been a joy to watch it again since it's been put in HD.

Currently on season 4 which focuses on the school. By far my favourite season.

Has anyone seen homecoming?

Just seen the first 2 episodes, so about 45-50 minutes of content, but it seems awfully slow to get going.

Julia Roberts is a great actress, and I'm sure this far along in her career that she wouldn't pick up on a show that's likely to flop.

I just haven't yet had the feeling that there's some big story behind it yet.

Dexter, never watched it before, brilliant show so far! half way through season 1.

Brilliant show but like all shows of its ilk (slightly unbelieveable scenario) it suffers from becoming ridiculous after a few season.

Queens Gambit.. It's ok.. It's a bit dull and the only reason I guess most people stick to these kinds of productions is the "just one more" bandwagon.. with no real thought behind the story.

Well...you're not wrong :D
Aha I just felt there was a noticeable cliff where the quality just took a divebomb.

It didn't help that both Dexter and Breaking Bad were in their original final seasons at the same time. As Breaking Bad was building up to a great finish, Dexter just meandered to a really unfulfilling ending.

Should've ended a few seasons sooner.

Really looking forward to starting Band of Brothers again soon. Lockdown is naff but it's a good excuse to smash out some TV shows.

I have reached "guff" level of TV now, not sure what to watch.
In case you've not seen them, and depending on your preference, these slightly less high-profile shows are great IMO:

The Get Down (Netflix)
Hell on Wheels (Prime)
Brassic (NowTV)
Barry (NowTV)
Happy (Netflix)
