*** Oculus Quest 2 Owners Thread ***

im not a person to buy anything lol

i had beat saber, that was it for ages......

i then went and bought Pistol whip as i wanted something new, then a 3 game deal cam up with In Death, bought that, nothing else...

Same here. Got all the free Oculus stuff and stuff of sidequest but VD or link the rest.

Bought Beat Sabre and coaster combat with the last two vouchers.

I keep holding off buying stuff, hoping it goes on the Daily Deal. Been a massive disappointment for me so far :p The main two I'm after are Pistol Whip and Synth Riders. Might just cave in and order one of the two.

Haven't had a single voucher from Oculus ever. Receipts aside, I don't get any emails from them. Wondering if it's maybe down to Facebook privacy settings or something?

pistol whip is worth buying
first game i bought was Beat Saber

then after playing that so much, i needed something new , wanted to shoot things, so pistol whip was a good choice

I never get any vouchers or discounts coupons from Oculus, not once in almost 5 years, apart from the Store Credit from when Oculus messed up.

Was shattered after a bit of thrill of the fight last. Tried the international space station app but it made me feel sick. Is this something that gets better?

sounds like you need to take a step back for a while if your feeling sick in an intense app

how long have you been playing VR for ?
you need to build up to intense games etc slowly

If feeling sick, just stop. Build your vr legs is the advice people give. Try using a fan blowing on you to help. Don't Try and push through.

I've been very lucky and only had flashes of nausea in brief moments, but I'd not try a rollercoaster app!!

For me it was Elite Dangerous on the first day I got the Q2 that did for me, doing the flight training through the obstacle course especially, so I just played more comfortable stuff for a few days. Now I can ED as much as I want. I still have a bit of an issue with some YouTube VR rollercoasters.

It wasn't that bad, its just that feeling of moving when you're stood still. Ive already tried the roller coaster and that was the same. Im hoping driving games dont do it as I have a gtx1080ti on the way to play them
