I bought a temporary RX580 8GB as I new is be waiting a while... however due to the gpu shortage even cards such as the 580 have almost doubled in price now! I bought mine brand new for £150 and they’re selling for £250+ second hand! The fact power supplies and graphics cards are so rare is amazing, can’t wait for the day everything is back to normal.

Man I wish Nvidia would just be more transparent and would actually understand how a launch like this would go.

How do you spend Millions of pounds on market research but not understand a card that's less than the 20 series would have gone... I don't understand.
It's just a shame this by far the worst launch of almost anything.
And the share fact that Nvidia is going to go ahead and create a new GPU instead of fixing the back order they created is baffling to me.
What are they doing?

Anyway here's hoping I will get my card soon...

@Gibbo hi I'm around 90th in line for the 3080 ventus, if you was ever in a position to upgrade. I would be more than happy to take any card you have or even pay any difference that may be involved. as I appreciate this isn't your guys fault, and you don't deserve all the hassle you have been receiving from crying customers! Anyway thank you for all the communication and hard work.

I am in the queue for a Palit 3080

I actually wanted a GameRock so if it is possible to upgrade that would make my day, but if not that's life.

Who would have thought that Asus have shipped more cards than anyone else. They must have really ramped up in the last few weeks.
Last week was pretty bad though. Only dropped 5 places to 582 for the TUF Non OC.
