*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Just checked my calendar. As someone living in Northern Ireland, St Patrick’s Day is usually a special celebration, but it will be doubly so this year (17th March 2021) - it’ll be the six month anniversary since I ordered my 3080 Eagle OC!

Same here. Only reason I bought early was in the hope that my 2080 TI would not be devalued before my new card arrived. Little did I know.

I 'panic sold' my 1080 thinking I could get a 3080 on launch.. little did I know!. I managed an order for the Eagle ~1hr15 mins past launch, was around 260th in the queue from memory. Thankfully I have a friend who got a 3080 system build from a competitor, and he sold me his 2080ti for a measly £350!

I cancelled my Eagle order a couple of months ago.

My birthday is in march, thought i was buying myself a Christmas present on release day. Let's hope it gets here by mid march :D

Mid March? I think even THAT is being optimistic. I’m currently 160 in the 3080 Eagle OC queue and given that it’ll take time to produce the GPUs, ship them to board partners, produce the boards, ship them to OCUK, then process them, then ship them to you, I’d say it’ll likely be at least April or May before we start to see more movement in the queues.

Well I'm hoping that by then Zotac sends more than 15 Trinity non-oc's, as I am 23rd in the queue. I suppose I got myself an Easter gift? in September?

surely that must really damage your relationship and trust with the brand @ScottiB
the business is bigger than just one brand or one product line. For example, we might be feeling screwed over by Asus VGA supply and pricing but we sell lots of their laptop, monitors, peripherals etc..and I have a really good relationship with them for motherboards... it's just one of those things

my pal ordered from the most obvious competetion, and was sat at the start in the 800s for a tuf 3080, hes now 100 odd , after ordering roughly on launch like myself, im now 38th from a queue of around 50 for my chosen 3080, blows my mind that cards are coming through about as well as i could expect right now. but its like rocking horse **** for certain AIBs. market share in this market must be tiny for it to feel like inno3d are not bothering

So...how is everyone's evening?
Well I'm gutted that the 9 minute window the 6800 MBA's were buyable was the specific time all day I was distracted modelling in Fusion 360. And I really hope they don't kill off the MBA designs of the 6800xt because they're like the only versions shorter than 270mm. Actually the next shortest AIB card is a huge 310mm. I guess AIB's think SFF is a fad.

Has anyone else noticed that the Founders Editions cards dont seem to be listed on the nvidia shop anymore?
Nvidia don't sell them direct any more as far as I know. I got one last week from a site like Dan for £660 next day delivered so they are out there. Just not direct.

That's a complete and utter lie. I can see the stock is still in the warehouse allocated, sorry if you are one of the affected and you want to cancel, feel free, it just means that we'll allocate the card to another customer.

Direct quote from OCUK Email: Please note that you will not receive a queue update while your order is on hold. We can assure you that your order will remain at the same position in the queue

This reads: Your order is on hold at number XYZ, when the hold is removed it will still be at number XYZ.
What an oddly passive aggressive response @ScottiB as from this email it seems like its already been allocated elsewhere - until the hold is removed. Misinformation happens, help to clarify rather than accuse customers of lying.
