Either I've done something or its changed on Google's end. When I picked up my phone, my chrome tabs appear now in a grid effect rather than one big page per tab to flick through.

Mine looks the same. Looks like another one of those server side updates that you've been "lucky" enough to receive. I've checked and my Chrome is the latest version (not the beta though).

Sounds like how it behaves under iOS on the iPad. Still old style on my phone though meh

Sorry to clarify as it wasn't clear, mine still has the old view not the HTC / iPad view.

It must have been that. I went through all the options but found nothing to revert it. It was strange as one minute I was closing old style tabs, Closed the app then next thing it was the grid layout which is why I thought it was something I had done.

I'll give it a whirl as it is and see how I like it first. Good to know that it can be changed though if required.

I've had that for months in my pixel 2xl. You get used to it and the tab groups is actually fairly useful but just a little annoying at first.

Yeah it doesn't seem to bad to be fair. I think its just getting accustomed to the new way as I keep trying to swipe.

Does anybody use the HSBC banking app? It's worked perfectly for the last few months, however in the past week I've lost the ability to log in with my fingerprint. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but still having no joy.

Checked on my 2xl and the finger print reader has gone for me too. HSBC are useless at software development.
