I imagine people with leave RH over the weekend en masse. A new platform just opened up to GME, top post on reddit.

This.

It is a shame those so confident can't tell us what the next big stonk is.

For all the 'logic' applied there is still a hell of a lot of general guess work.

I can say "people will lose money" or the opposite and be right half the time  mind you I can be right and wrong simultaneously with either of those comments too.

It's just the latest example of people being manipulated en masse on social media.

The big guns are salivating, just waiting to fill their coffers when these redditors crumble.

It would be tragic if it wasn't so dumb. Greedy sods pretending they have the moral high ground. Take em to the cleaners I say.

yea, i can understand the sentiment behind it but its just all really disjointed and born out of ignorance unfortunately. Robinhood traders are complaining about being limited to 2 or 1 shares, but it literally says in the T&C's they can do that. If they wanted a watertight options contracts, get some proper ones, but then again, the dealer would never have accepted the extreme leverage on it like all these RH traders have. The reason those RH guys can get the extreme leverage is because the dealers can change the game mid way through.

this is worth a watch

Sold 5 of my shares in GME, taking out a lovely little profit, but leaving one in just in case it does actually reach the moon on Monday lol

Blooming ridiculous this.

Robinhood will hopefully take a serious beating from this going forward. How can you trust this company.

On the flip side, this also allows those who have been 'repressed' to move and get ready for next week. Get off apps like Robinhood and move money over to ones that work and work well without deposit delays.

See how much it gets manipulated over the weekend and what they do to aid themselves before we can get back on the markets..

So, in the future, if someone/a fund 100%+ shorts a stock, what is to stop loads of people (or even one person) buying up lots of shares and holding that person/fund to ransom and only selling stocks back to them at a really high level?

If said entity has to buy back 100% of the available shares what is stop anyone holding on to some until they get given what they want for them (far beyond market value)?

RobinHood have even limited the purchase of AMD to 1 share.... there's a lot of short interest (when hasn't there been) but it's hardly a highly volatile stock recently.

Clowns!

Well I’ve gone into the weekend holding my shares. I kept jumping back and forth unable to make a decision to decided to just stick with it. It’s mostly profit from GME anyway so I’m justifying it that way.

In response to an earlier post around the out of hours share price going up then dropping before close. I assume that’s the German market selling off profits at opening which would be a few hours before the US market opens.

There’s nothing wrong with that. If you want to expose yourself to that level of risk then more power to you. You can’t whinge when your attempt to play the system backfires.

Fingers crossed for you. I'm comfortable having my single share left in to go to the moon!! lol
