Glad the Asus TUF's turned up on both OC and none OC models and have now all shipped out. :)

We are still owed a small amount of both the none OC and OC TUF 3080's about 10pc of each which will hopefully also turn up this week.

In my dreams, a shipment of 350 Asus TUF OC turned up at the loading dock.
Then I woke up to find myself still position 306 in the queue.
 
Any rumours about deliveries to Ireland? There were some optimistic news from last week, but someone got webnote recently it may be another couple of weeks?

at least the PC will be entirely yours by the time it's built, and not part-owned by the bank hahaha

this is the most infuriating but amusing thing I've done since the escape rooms I did BC (Before Covid), and that's coming from someone not in a queue who's waiting :D

It's a joke - 10 units in 3 months - 4.5 years queue for me. I will have a card in 2025 - summer. Please let me know how to stay optimistic...
 
So many happy ASUS 3080 TUF non OC customers! Well done guys and enjoy! Please share your experience of the card before you leave the forum. At least I know I will be in the low 500s in the queue on Friday :)

I really appreciate the updates!

15 mins was plenty of time with enough attempts to checkout if website was hammered a few mins later. Few people were very lucky to grabbed it within 15 mins, hope @dvinell managed to grabbed it. What a shame you were unlucky not able to get checkout worked.

I replied when they were out of stock after 15 mins. Yes they were in stock, I added to basket using different web browser many times during those 15 mins but wasn't able to reach the payment page coz there was an error, ie it got hammered.

tbh I did a test payment a couple of weeks ago on the same site just to buy an ink cartridge and the same thing happened where it didn't let me choose a payment option so I think their website just has issues. I had to come back later and it worked on second try but that's not option when you get a stock alert :)

I tried to get one on launch day (3080). Site was down within seconds and the entire site was unusable for a whole day or two...seriosuly? Since then, I've seen the prices go up and up to the point that it's shambolic. I've seen 6800XT's for £1300....are you serious? That is double what it should be. CPU's are also hard to get and cost more than they should.

I have decided to simply wait until the market cools down (if it ever will) which I reckon will be June-July. Mind you, that is nearly a year after launch (can't believe I'm saying that) and paying £650-£700 for a GPU a year into it's gen, when there could be another gen around the corner, is BAD value. They need to delay the next gen at least six months after this shambles, imo.

In all my computing life, I have never seen a ****take and a joke as big as this, to be honest. It even surpasses the previous mining craze. I am the most impatient guy ever, but there is no way I am paying DOUBLE rrp for a GPU during this time of pandemic. It's a good job I've given up on the whole thing, because with my patience, if I was waiting for a card....I would have gone bloody mad by now.
