What does this option do in MSI AMD Bios? I have three options to choose from Auto, Gen1, Gen2.

It is for the non GPU PCI-E slots to fix compatibly issues you may/could have with some older devices.

Your GPU x16 slots will be same but say also have Gen 3.

I was confused because there was gpu pcie gen option and this one, which I had no idead what it was. But thanks to you now I know.

For the smaller slots like if you fit a Soundcard etc and it acts up.

Yes, I have second nvme and pcie slot which both can not be used at the same time and it supports up to gen2 speed. Thanks
