I think his concern may come from the information doing the rounds about 3080/3090 showing signs of CPU bottlenecks on pretty much every CPU other than the 10th gen i7 & i9K editions. I don't know what it is about these cards that seems to require high single core performance but there's definitely some evidence to support it. It's not a massive issue and almost non-existent at higher resolutions but still, you know how easily a grain of truth can be blown out of proportion in the tech community.

I still think he'll be fine. It's a reasonably fun game however the basic issue with Cyberpunk is that it is very poorly optimized in terms of audio LOD's, and graphics. It's full of issues with object culling, and streaming of objects, scaling of textures, and LODs based on draw distance - which will basically make anyone think a game is crap as its a constant visual reminder of its shortcomings. I'm probably lucky (based on other peoples responses to it) but I haven't had any game breakers yet in terms of actual gameplay.

Welcome to the forum. Custom builds are seperate from this queue, they get SI (System Integrator) cards. What card did you order with your system, and when did you make your order? There is still a wait for custom builds, but they tend to get shipped quicker.

@Gibbo, thanks for queue update but still need to know where those 7 Strix 3080 OCs have disappeared too. They still in a crate or has someone done a Biden and misplaced stock?

Yeah, I was counting on being second in the queue (Currently 9th) and happy in the knowledge that any new delivery of more than one card would see my waiting end.

@ScottiB I had an email at 17:30pm telling me another part of my build is out of stock and I need to pick an alternative. Happy to do so but Im not a fan of the one that was reccommended (Just the reviews and stuff weren't great nothing to do with anyone or anything specifically)
I've emailed back twice with a couple of ones Id rather swap for but they're slightly more pricey, Im happy to pay the differenc eif need be though, the most recent email Ive basically said which one I want instead and asked if that would be alright- I was wondering if you guys are gonna see/respond to those tonight or is it gonna be tomorrow now? No rush but if I might get a response tonight I'll keep my emails open on the phone while Im gaming so I dont miss it and can get my build sorted, built, and out of you guys way ASAP.

Also low key worried other parts might go out of stock before this is sorted so Im trying to sort it ASAP for me and for you guys too ^^

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to make of this.
@ScottiB If/when the eagles inevitably become discontinued (or take too long to come in) what will happen with the people who paid with paypal? I've heard you say something about their T&C.
I understand it's nobody's fault but but I feel like I'm in limbo and I'm struggling to wait in a queue that may never materialise.

Saw this after I posted. There’s got to be something up right? I know not to expect much this feb, but why is stock coming in (from the same manufacturer) for every other card.
