I ordered an Eagle 3080 on day of release, been 9th in queue since January this year but no updates. Does anyone know why there's such a delay on the eagles, 7 months in and still no card.
I asked gigabyte why the eagles were being produced is in such little quantities, they just told me to look for other retailers. I don’t have the money to place another order so I’m just holding out, surely some will come soon

They know we are waiting for them "look for other retailers" is a BS excuse. I don't see other retailers with loads for sale.

It's the same no matter the chipset...3060, Ti, 3070, 3080...even the upcoming 6700 XT....the supply of Gaming OC is a lot higher than Eagle...almost certainly because they can charge more for one.

It's a sad state of affairs, that I get excited just by moving 62 places in the queue, I'm not too sure if my heart will be able to stand it when the day comes that I actually get my card, lol.

I would be excited too... My Gigabyte Eagle OC moves 4 or 5 a week!!! Probably all being used to mine crypto before we get them lol

Still surpsied how ocuk can sell systems with cards in whilst people are waiting for pre orders... how strange......

I'm still surprised that it's always Eagle buyers who keep asking this question. I've explained the process many many times and you won't find a single system with 3080 Eagle as an option. Feel free to look for yourself.

I'm not responsible for the lack of Eagle supply. It's clear that Gigabyte make at least ten Gaming OC for every Eagle.

To compress my many, many previous responses into a couple of sentences;
Nvidia have many long term System Build partners, employing many thousands of people and unless they assign them a portion of the supply they go out of business and Nvidia lose customers. Generally, I get about one card for every ten given to retail and only some models are part of that.
